NPView for Android
I first installed the app well over a year ago on an Android pad, and after several install / uninstalls it eventually worked. It kept working for many months, no matter where in the world I tried it. Then, after a factory reset of the pad it refused to work again. I have tried it on another pad and my phone but it continually displays connection failure. When it worked it was brilliant, but unfortunately that's not the case these days.
Bought new improved model 20th April and so far still working. Was on holiday and could still view house internally/externally from phone. Love it but software improvements for hardware/phone pls. Fast forward & rewind on phone playback would be nice. Contacted developer a few times who did recent update twice. Asked for my password...I don't think so. When playback there is too much frames mixed together and looks like 3-4 people moving across a few frames when it's only one person and looking at the time it seems to skip quite a bit. It would be an excellent CCTV if it met these requirements and I would give 5 stars. UPDATE: Still working OK even though I had to get password reset code lol as I blocked it somehow. Like I said before recording on hard drive fantastic but need to bring software into the 21st century. Only fault still is, no sound and also frames when watching back on mobile phone repeats ghostly frames so it looks like 3 people instead of one. Frames cannot keep up smoothly, please fix. Tried on 3 different phones but still the same. Those who can't get it to work try unplugging everything and start from scratch. I've had connection errors but it was my password in this case and not correctly logging into the hard drive from the software. Also contact developers via email. They usually do an update. Not sure if that corrects the issues but it's worth a try. Sorry if none of this helps
Has stopped working can't log on to see my CCTV please fix ok update if you try log in and it says connection failed keep tapping the login button fast and it does log you inn
This app is waste of time avoid if you can, keeps saying connection failed when you try logging in from another wifi/data does log in from the same router connected to the dvr, but that's no good as your home and could monitor that from your monitor connected to the cctv
Was working fine until a couple of weeks ago..now just says connection failed!
Constant connection failed issues. Have to restart app to get cameras to work. Also why is it saving pictures in my gallery each time I open the app? It saves a snapshot of the live feed across all four cameras as 4 seperate pictures. How do I stop this happening ?
Bought the aldi CCTV set. Can not get it to connect. Adding via the qr fails. I manually input the details into the app from the screen. Add success but never connects to app. Intelligent Wi-Fi add times out. Settings on router checked. Not sure what else I can do to be honest to remote view.
Keeps saying connection failed and can't view cctv on my phone so is quite annoying. It was working up until a week or so ago
This app while not exactly easy to configure to the security camera system, it does work very well once configured correctly. It works from within our own home WiFi and when out and about using free connections. Been in use for four months and has performed better than expected.
Logged in once on first attempt, never logged in since. Change my password 3 times now. Was questioning myself if it was me at first please fix it or I will be returning it asap

Works fine on both my android and iPhone. No connection issues whatsoever! Playback could be made better though on the app

The app isn't without bugs but the support is great. They can only resolve the issues with our feedback and help not our moaning and complaining. My system 'offline' issues were sorted with an update they released the same day as them identifying the problem by email support and remote access to my system.
App has never worked on my android devices. Will be returning the CCTV kit if the app is not working by 15 June, thanks to Aldi's 60 day returns policy, which would be a shame as the kit is decent quality bar the app.
I am totally disgusted that I cannot view my cameras remotely. Makes me want to question if was a good purchase.
Downloaded and works fine. viewed from Spain no problems only a couple of times it hasn't started but tried again and fine.
Great app when working but connection fails daily and only works when constantly reinstall app.

Has more bugs than the Brazilian rain forest. Support was little to no help. App works when first installed then fails. Needs significantly more work. And this is aimed at both the old app and the update.
The app is supposed to be for my night watcher security system but as the app fails to open on a regular basis an locks up when you need it most and as it's the recommended app for the system the whole package has been returned and refunded plus customer service is worthless
Works for a day then connecting failed for another day. This is constant even after the update it's still the same issue.
The app has never worked for me. They called to say it was fixed. Downloaded again, not working. Wasting my time!
App stopped working on all of my android devices at once on 10th March 2017, and will not log in now. It still logs in on the iPad version of the app though.
Was working fine to start with now it wont let me in at all and iv only had it 3 days!!!! Everytime i try log in it just says connection failed! Not happy!
Would you please update or repair, some how works for the first time then near impossible to connect again. Jesus so frustrating can you guys please do something for us all here complaining thank you.
Got the cctv from aldi and the app has stopped working from the 10/03/17 and I'm away from home and I re need this working at the min not good can not check on my property now hurry and sort this out thanks
Works great on my cctv system. I needed help from the developer and they were very quick in the aftercare and to resolve the issue.
Says my cameras are online but the fails to connect to them everytime, can anyone suggest any alternative apps??

New button doesn't help, won't let me enter the network name. Only works P2P by entering the cloud ID manually, crashes when trying to photograph the QR code. Fseye app works too, but I'm meant to be using NPview for my DVR.

Right I did give this 5 stars but now I'M VERY MUCH ANNOYED. I've had this for a while now and in the beginning all was well, hence the 5 stars. But lately I have had very real trouble connecting to my cameras, I am able to connect maybe 3 times out of 10 on the first try. I use this app to watch over my home and family as I work away from home a lot. This needs to be SORTED OUT FAST. Please don't let what was once a VERY good app be let down by faults.
