HBO GO

HBO needs to get with the times and do what showtime has done from the start, offer a live feed of the main channel. Shared viewing is one of the last bastions of entertainment and when you have to wait a few days to see the live boxing tour buddy watched over the weekend, it's just not worth it.

App works great! Some shows were glitchy before, but recent updates have fixed the problem.

After initial problems, later versions have stabilized the app and experience. The content is HBO so as long as the app keeps up its great!

Cannot get an entire episode to play without freezing. Plays for 10 seconds, freezes for 20 seconds and so on. Incredibly annoying. It took an hour to get through 25 minutes of the episode. Terrible app.

Its been 2 days that the app isnt working properly it just says service error and thats it. I have a goog phone and internet connection so its not that, it has become from a great app to the most frustrating one as im no longer able to follow my series.

Constant errors on Chromecast and you guys seem to have intentionally designed an awful interface. God awful!

This app is awful. The casting has always had issues with my Pixel. Deleting my HBO account because of constant hiccups with this infuriating app.

Used to work well before the previous changes. Now if I turn my tablet screen off it disconnects from cast. Woke up this morning with the screen still on HBO app. Please fix these issues, need my hbo to work.

If I didn't get constant error messages as well as if I was able to also use the continus play for the TV series as stated that would be cool too fix these things and you'll get 5 stars outta me

App sucks, specially the casting. I give this app 2 thumbs down.

Buffering, buffering, buffering, it took me an hour and a half to watch twenty minutes of a TV show. This app is trash! Fix it

App was great but now it doesn't work at all on my Mi Box.

Works fine for me. A few stops and starts.

Good way to watch HBO. Doesn't work 100% of the time and it doesn't stream as efficiently as other video apps, but it gets the job done.

Since recent update series like vice are unavailable. Please fix and will change rating.

Takes forever for the app to start now, constantly getting errors when casting.

Contents all good, but this app is a total disaster. A highschool kid would do way better. Can't pickup new episode in a series, although it is promised so in the new upgrade. Random stuff I've never watched always pop up in my continue watching list, very annoying. Use some brain please.

not gonna lie... this app pisses me off! needs to be set up a bit more like netflix for watching seasons instead of having to click on each new episode. it often won't connect to my chromecast, and always asks for a pin, however my TV is still connected so in order to get a pin I have to restart chromecast. all other apps work great with chromecast. this one is a pain in the *ss.

The new user interface looks cosmetically pleasing. However usability is absolutely terrible. Good luck figuring out how to add a show to the watch list. There is no indictor anywhere on adding something to the watch list. If you do figure that out, you'll realize you can only add one episode at a time, which is time consuming and annoying. Fixing the app interface should be a top priority. Update 4/18/17: App is still terrible, and now locks up during playback if I pull down the notification shade.
