Goldfish

The goldfish (Carrassius auratus) is one of the freshwater ornamental fishes that belong to the carp type. Goldfish fish brought from China, but this type of fish has spread in various countries including Indonesia.

In the beginning the body shape of the goldfish is the same as the common carp (Cyprinus carpio), the difference is only in a pair of tentacles that do not exist in ordinary goldfish in the mouth.

Finally goldfish cheeks have mutations after passing through the process of genes crossing begins from body color, fins and tail.

Goldfish has a unique body and attractive scales. Chef's fish belong to the type of fish that easily adapt to the new environment.

The body shape of the goldfish is somewhat elongated and flat (compressed) and its mouth is located at the middle end (terminal) and can be emitted (protaktil).

The tip of the mouth has two pairs of tentacles. At the tip of the mouth there is a tooth throat composed of three lines.

Molar teeth in general, almost the entire body of the goldfish is covered by scales that are relatively small.

The dorsal fins are elongated and the back is fingered hard bones. Meanwhile, the third and fourth fins are jagged. The location of the dorsal fin is opposite the surface of the ventral fin (ventral).

Anal fin (anal) has features such as the dorsal fin, which is fingered hard and serrated bones and all parts of the fins are shaped tassels or long. The line of ribs or lateral lines (linnea lateralis) on the goldfish is complete, located in the middle of the body with the position stretching from the gill cover to the back end of the base of the tail.

As for the characteristics of the male goldfish the chef is on the pectoral fin are spots prominent round and if touched felt rough.

 Her body color is brilliant compared to the female parent, her size is leaner, her movements are more agile, and the male parent has mature gonads when ordered on the abdomen until the urogenital hole will release a white liquid called sperm.

While the female parent, pectoral fins are spots and feel smooth if touched. Body color rather pale not as bright as the male parent, the movement is relatively slower, larger body size than the male parent.

 Mature female parent gonad when sorted in the abdomen until the urogenital hole will release a yellow liquid called the egg.
