La Beriso is a neighborhood rock band formed in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1998. They have eight albums recorded independently, maintaining their preference to continue being their own producers. The name of the band, «La Beriso»; it does not refer to Berisso's party but to a well-known priest of Avellaneda whose surname is Berisso (they did not know that it was written with that double, they found out after the creation of the band). "Rolo" Rolando Sartorio, reflects in some of his lyrics, the pain for the loss of his sisters.2 3
In the Argentine edition of Rolling Stone magazine, they considered the group "the new hope of street rock" in 2014. This is not a reference to the Callejeros band but to the genre that since the 90s was called rock neighborhood, and that it is also identified with the terms "chabón" or "callejero".
