Calgary Zoo Augmented Reality

Downloaded on the Samsung and the map was the only thing that worked. The camera screen was divided in half. Half a black screen and a the other half a flickering screen. I couldn't even get the collection screen to come up.

It works just had to be really close to the sign and like someone else mentioned, on a sunny day it can be hard to see your screen. It's a cool idea but not worth the download because you can't view the movies you collect later.

Installed fine. Didn't work like it said.

I got it to work only for the first dinosaur, then nothing else. Everyone else in my party also tried it, but no one could get it to work at all, and we're all tech savvy. What little I saw wasn't impressive, a small 2D superimposed animation, but not 3D augmented reality. No augmented reality motion tracking. Not worth the trouble of installing it.

In spite of what other "techno savvy" reviewers might say, the app works fine! It is a cool addition to the Calgary Zoo Dinosaur exhibit experience. I loved it. On a sunny day, it is hard to see my screen (which is not the apps fault!) so I do wish that once collected, the interactive videos were available for later viewing... even being able to download the videos of the dinosaurs once I got back home would be nice! It would give me the incentive to collect them all, and then the ability to re-live the experience whenever I wanted. Being able to snap photo's of the video as it plays is helpful somewhat, but again, if the light is wrong, it is hard to see exactly what it is I am capturing. I plan on going back on a cloudy day to see if that helps.

This will not load and its a waste of time!
