It works on my nexus s 4g, it just force closes a lot! I have it running with the app 'equalizer' because since it's the free version, you don't get access to the preset eq's, just 'flat'. Where as 'equalizer' has an automatic feature which detects whether its hip hop, rock, pop, etc.. Which is perfect anyway cuz all I wanted out of this app was to increase the volume. And it does. Quite a bit too. Force closes a lot tho. Only complaint.

Just purchased my Galaxy Nexus and was really disappointed in the speaker output. Compared it with my buddy who has an iPhone and he just laughed at how far off the audio was. So I did some research and found this app was highly recommended and tried it out. I love it and if you have a nexus and felt the same about the audio output then you need to buy this app. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Lot of bs in forums from paid advertiser's always pushing paid version, during test with live music playing on samsung s5 Android 6.1 there was no difference between on and off meaning the app does nothing, also the app asks for 0 permissions from the new permission manager, seems kinda strange as i have never seen an app run that didnt need at least 1 really makes you wonder if developer just collection money from the placebo affect but ill leave it up too you to test for yourselfs.

Nexus 7 2013. Didn't expect any of this to work, as the dev has warned us. And nothing does except the VIRTUAL ROOM and wow what a difference it makes. AMAZING. Instead of the usual flat sound suddenly I have voices, horns, bass, drums all separated!! It lets music SOUND like MUSIC.

Didn't think it would work. It does increase speaker volume about 1 notch on phone speaker, for music and ringer. But does a lot more for BT and headsets. purchased paid version and all I can say is wow! To the extra controls and sound for BT and headset. Does not work for in call volume at all on stock, non rooted Htc TB but I can live with that.

I been useing this app for 3 or 2 days just to test it and it's working! Thank you guys so much for this amazing volume boost. People u really need to make this the number one volume app in the market! I really don't see anything wrong here. Even my video volume is much louder than before. 5 stars from me.

Someone said you need to go into settings, then sound and select music effects and select volume+. Makes all the difference in the world. 5 stars, galaxy nexus, ics. My last review was incorrect. It does seen to help increase the volume on the new Galaxy Nexus. Sorry to developer. Doesn't work on Verizon galaxy nexus, volume on this phone sux, wish someone would make app to fix it.

Lots-o-recs for this and they certainly didn't steer me wrong on my Vzn Samsung Galaxy Nexus for ringer and alerts volume. You've cured me of deafness (but I'm still dumb).

Can't understand why it would need my identity, access to my storage card, or why it would modify or delete items on my card. It had no effect on volume but kept eating up my network bandwidth. Need something that isn't spying on you all the time. Why does Google allow this crap?

Quite amazing man!!! Motorola ATRIX 2 sounds like a small stereo hahaha!!! But.....there is one thing. Sounds odd but speaker mode is louder but not a huge change like headphone mode. But great app....buying full mode cause it is louder than free version. Ringtones way louder and music way....louder. so worth 1.62$ for full version. I can promise you all that!!! 5* hands down!!

Settings>sound>music effects>Volume+ Perfect on my Verizon Nexus. My wife just yelled at me for waking up the kids playing with this app (something I never thought possible with my Nexus.) You sir, win the internet.

It seems to cause video playback on MX video player to crash. The developers do not recommend it on ICS so I can't knock on this app (hence the 5 stars). It seems to work for everything else

This app increases the volume for the music player only. It DOES NOT increase the volume for anything else, including calling volume, notifications, ringtones, or anything else. This problem has been discussed repeatedly on XDA. I only wish Meltus would fix it.

It boosts volume yet it needs full network access? Developer needs to explain in the notes WHY the app needs all the access it has just to increase volume. Sorry but this is like a screensaver needing access to the internet and my contacts, only shady things going on in the background.

Works great on stock, new GNexus. Follow directions in settings as others have stated. No more low volume problem here! Am also upgrading to the paid version to thank the Dev.

Just bought the plantronics back beat go 2 Bluetooth headset running on my nexus 5 . need more volume. Downloaded free version. Went to+4. ACTUALLY MADE HEADSET quieter WTF

Know this is for.speaker volume but.some.other boosters mention Michael boosting as side benefit. No go. It crashes immediately when playing music. DSP error. This is CM7.

Each song i play periodically makes a skipping sound. Too annoying to apply to phone. Makes me weary of purchasing full version. Samsung Proclaim.

Well while it worked for my earpiece it totally disabled my loudspeaker.now I can't hear phone calls or music.even disabled and uninstalled.installed new Rom.went back to stock.nothing.Wtf did it do to disable my speaker? Inspire 4g.

Went though Settings > Sound > Music Effects and selected Volume+. Set headphone volume from 0 to +4, and noticed nothing. Tried toggling it back and forth to try and distinguish a slight difference, but it did nothing. Not sure what you other Galaxy Nexus users are doing, but this did nothing on an unrooted stock ICS 4.0.2 Galaxy Nexus.

I tried this app originally on my Galaxy Nexus because the volume is very weak. This app didn't work at all! In fact my volume actually went down as I was choosing +4. So I tried it again on my Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 and again didn't work at all, no volume difference at all. But at least it didn't make things quieter. Very disappointed

Does precisely nothing. The developer makes a lot of caveats though, so your mileage may vary.... But for me, it was a waste of time.

Doesn't work with ny phone at all. All volume stays the same. Fix and I'll give better rating. Galaxy S3 mini

Boosted the volume up a few notches, still not super loud but I will be upgrading to the full version for higher gains. I have an Evo 4g lte and the speaker is no where near as loud as my old EVO 4G and I'm guessing it's due to the addition of the Beats audio processor clarity but you give up loudness. Until HTC releases a firmware update to fix the issue, I'll keep using Volume+

Who did this app he or she are good and the people who are going to get this and has a mobile thet the name is ZTE Blade III the volum make it +5 or +6 do you now why because if you make the volume to high it can destroy your speaker of your mabile thank you!!

Wasted 10 minutes of my precious time. It's nothing but a volume control. The developer deserves flogging on his butts. I would also recommend a medical test of all the morons who have given it a higher star rating.

My phone's ringtone and notification volume is way too quiet, but this app boosts the volume perfectly. I haven't tried any of the other settings though, the speaker volume was all I needed.

My music is already loud but I just wanted something a lot louder and this app defiantly did the job

This app is excellent, I watch a lot of programmes and films on my tablet but the volume has always been terrible, now with this app I can hear everything crystal clear and no longer have to struggle or wear headphones. Thank you

I have a Samsung galaxy mini and it works great on my phone. I'm able to tune out everyone now that I have this app. A lot of people say this isn't a good app but I guess it depends on what type of phone you have. You never know until you try it. Anyways great app and I love it

Sorry app has been uninstalled as my phone upgraded to Kit kat. It is noted that this application needs Gingerbread. Self using Samsung Galaxy Note 2. As I dont know how it works I cant give you 4/5 stars.

Best one yet:) only reason didnt rate 5 is because it could be a little louder. Its better than any other though

HTC EVO 3D stock ROM. After installed, modified the speaker volume to +4, the volume really increased (approx 20%). May consider to buy after research more will this modification above +4 hurt the speaker or not. Thanks to developer, +5 stars.

Anyone who own a Sensation 4G is probably familiar and frustrated with the very low speakerphone volume. This works! For me, I had to enable the "Virtual Room" setting in order to hear any difference.
