F By Asteroids™ is a real time asteroid app that tracks NEO asteroids. There are over 1300+ known NEO's (Near Earth Objects) or PHA's (Potentially Hazardous Asteroids). This free version lists all 80 at one given time.
This app lists the names of the asteroids with links to additional information about the named object. It shows the date at closest approach. It lists asteroids with a simple tap to show in English or Metric calculations. It also shows you the size and it's visible magnitude. Asteroids closer then 5.0 LD(distance between the Moon and Earth) will highlight in red. There is an added link to calculate the impact damage using the size of the object in meters. The last to display is the speed or Relative Velocity the asteroid is traveling at. This also converts between English and Metric.
Very easy to use and understand with the calculation conversion to English. This Application has been running solid for 3 years now on a dedicated and stable server.
Ver 3.0 has an encrypted string update to its call to the server to enhance security.

Edited after communicating with creator. I'm still leaving the rating at the current 1. I did receive an email from the creator of this app after I contacted him explaining the problems I was having. To be contacted back, with an explanation from someone promoting a Free App counts for something. He states he's working on a newer version that will work on more devices than the original does, however programming is going slow at this time. From what this program offers will be available when it's complete, I'm willing to hope he's able to get it fixed as soon as he's able. I hope anyone else that downloads the current version has better luck than I did.
