Handicraft is creating a product or goods done by hand and has a function of wear or beauty so it has a selling point. High quality handicrafts will certainly cost a fortune, if you have the skills and strive to make a product possible with the craft you will have can be a promising venture.

Crafts have two functions namely Function of Use and Function of Ornamental.
Use Function is a Craft that only prioritizes the usefulness of the craft objects and has the beauty in addition to be interesting.
Decorative Function is a craft that only prioritizes the beauty regardless of the use of these items, such as miniature handicrafts, sculptures etc. which only becomes a pleasure for whoever sees it.

Handicraft when viewed in terms of materials is divided into 2, namely:

2. Handicraft of soft materials.

Factors that affect the characteristic of a regional craft:
1. Culture.
2. Geographical location.
3. Natural Resources.

Stages or ways of making handicrafts:
1. Make a design or design.
2. Preparing tools and materials.
