سبب التسمية :
سميت ‏سورة ‏الكهف ‏لما ‏فيها ‏من ‏المعجزة ‏الربانية ‏في ‏تلك ‏القصة ‏العجيبة ‏الغريبة ‏قصة ‏أصحاب ‏الكهف‎ .‎‏
التعريف بالسورة :
مكية .عدا الآية 38 ، ومن الآية 86 إلى 151 فمدنية .
من المئين .
عدد آياتها .110 آية .
ترتيبها الثامنة عشرة .
نزلت بعد سورة " الغاشية " .
تبدأ باسلوب الثناء ، بدأت بالحمد لله ، تحدثت السورة عن قصة ذي القرنين وسيدنا موسى والرجل الصالح .
الجزء " 16 " - الحزب " 30-31 " - الربع " 1 - 2" .
