ARc Stories - Old Key

ARc is Empathetic Media's augmented storytelling app that gives users a fresh, interactive perspective on news events: 3D animations and infographics overlaid with textual annotations, maps and audio.

ARc is the first AR app to partner with news organizations (our first two stories have been produced in conjunction with the Washington Post and Associated Press) to tell news stories using a sequential 3D narrative.

To use, position your phone over the trigger (partner logo, or recognizable image) to bring up a 3D model inside the camera view when the ARc app is loaded and a story is selected.

The principal ARc UI is comprised of 3 icons (in the left hand corner of the screen): one for a narration; one for additional text; and one that displays a map.
