Embroidery Design

Before computers were affordable, most embroidery finished by punching designs on paper tape which then ran through the embroidery machine. One mistake can ruin the whole design, forcing the inventor to restart.

In 1980, the introduction of computer graphics embroidery design system first to run on a minicomputer. The first sample creates embroidery head for use with large loom. This weaving runs several meters across and was produced patch large lace and embroidery patterns. Head of samples allowed embroiderers to avoid manual sample sewing the design and production time saving.

Subsequently, it became the first computerized embroidery machine marketed to home sewers.
