Animated weather Map and Radar

I had the paid version from Amazon, and this company switched my license to Android. I've had problems twice...and each time the developers fixed things almost immediately (less than a few hours.) Easy to use, plenty of options. [Note: I have the paid version too, which I recommend.]

I like my weather maps detailed and colorful, as I live in an area that both hurricanes and turbulent weather enjoy visiting. If a storm is headed my way, I need to clearly see the radar image showing me where it's going to hit. Hurricane tracking is also important to me. I am pleased to say that with the addition of this app, Elecont has exceeded my expectations. In addition, customer service is both fast and reliable; a practice which many Developers seemed to have abandoned.

Love this app. Also have "eWeather HD" from same devs. Both great, had a minor problem so I email'd the devs, they got back to me within hours and gave me great customer service, so the problem was solved. I would recommend these apps and devs ... GREAT

First many thanks for the great app. But I wish you can take the following points into consideration. I bought your main application of e weather and I was very satisfied except for the radar. Thus I decided again to buy this app which I also find a great one. But Again the radar problem continues...It is only working with the US. Please find a solution for this problem as soon as possible. KINDLY do it quickly. Second, on this app you have only the US provider which is not that accurate with Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Can you kindly add foreca or the Japanese provider as well (I know that they are on the other app :) I hope that my comment is not only to be read and that someone from the technical support can give a promise of when the radar option will start working! Still your app is the best ever...You deserve every penny you get from your customers, whom I am proud to be one of....Six stars out of five for your great Job... However, do kindly improve it.

every time you open the app it has a screen telling you how to buy it. If you exit that screen it says not purchased. So, if you say something is free, but it is not usable unless you buy it, then it is not free. Instead it is a waste of my time in downloading and trying to work around the demands to purchase the app.

I have to agree with Ian; this app needs to be integrated into Eweather HD, even if it means a slight price increase. As most weather apps already have animated radar, I don't see why this one doesn't.

This app I stumbled upon and was so delighted when I opened it and observed all it could do. Yes, everything it says it can do in such a unique way. What a great weather app.

Also had installed AccuWeather, WeatherBug, and Wunderground - this app. is by far the best for motorcycle travel allowing both traffic an weather info to be displayed from current position (follows GPS). Would be good if there were a way to integrate radar with overlays for navigation apps. such as CoPilot, Osmand+, or Locus.

Extremely detailed, animated weather map. Tons of options at your finger tips. Screen may look busy but has every imaginable feature you will come to love and won't want to be without. We camp a lot in the summer and these new features make planning our day around the weather a breeze...(pun intended) I have tried literally every weather program out there and Elecont has the best app on the market. Tons of widgets that are highly tunable to your liking and preferences. Works flawlessly on my LG G4

This app and their other eweather HD are as good as they get. Accurate and current info, tons of features and customizations. Couldn't be happier.

Best Weather Program Available I've tried many other programs, but never have see one as detailed and functional as this one. Customer service is absolutely the best.

My go to app every morning. Have had an iPhone for 8+ years. Now have android phone and am purchasing this app for it. You will not regret getting this app. If there were more than 5 stars, they would have them from me.

A very unique weather app. I am impressed with the variety of features contained in this app. The developers have done an excellent job in providing a wealth of information in an icon based app.

The screen, although it has many options to view, is just too busy. Sure, u can turn it off with a finger touch. At first, the app worked well, but it has started force closing and freezing alot. I expected better from an app that I have been using for yrs and paid for the radar part.

There is some considerable overlap in functionality between this app and the much more comprehensive eWeather, also from Elecont. In fact, I had to ask the developer himself what this app has that eWeather is missing. The additional items turn out to be hurricanes, population figures, traffic and a 10 day on-map forecast. All of these are drawn on an animated map, as opposed to the static map provided by eWeather. To his credit, the generous developer responded to my query by offering to unlock this app for free, an offer I gratefully accepted. Like eWeather, the app is idiosyncratic in its design and use of UI elements. It really looks and feels like nothing else; except for eWeather, of course. I also don't really understand why this was built as a separate app from eWeather. It forms a natural extension of that much larger app and its inclusion there would have been the obvious developmental choice. Ease of use of the two apps would also have benefited. That said, this is a nice bonus on top of eWeather. It's by no means essential, but if you can have it for free in addition to eWeather, why not have it?

When I first downloaded, it worked nicely. Next time I opened it, no info, and said I hadn't purchased yet. So I uninstalled it and re installed. It worked... Until I opened it a couple of days later. Same as before. It doesn't say it costs, what's up? If it won't work, its taking the space of something that will.

This is a further extension of Elecont's eWeather HD app (which is great by the way), so there is overlap in many features. It adds more features in a very animated map which I find helpful. If they could, it would probably be good to add these features into their other app and maybe give it a PRO designation. I do not know if it is possible to have an animated widget that most Android devices could keep up with (I have 2 tablets which could, but I doubt seriously that my other Android devices - older tablets and phones - could hold up under the load). If they could manage to pull that off, then a hybrid app with a semi-static map widget inclusive of all of the information of this app added to all of the features of eWeather HD would be an almost complete package of weather information. It's just a thought, but if you consider what this one is - an animated weather map app with a lot of customization - it is excellent as is.

I have used the weather HD app for a few years and I love it. This Animated Weather Map is wonderful! Everything you need to know in one place. I will continue using elecont apps as their developers pay meticulous attention to what users need in an app. Bravo elecont!

I have both weather apps from this developer and it is packed with customization. The developer actually gets back with you if you need help. A lot of developers don't. It's worth it.

This feature rich animated weather app works great. With the addition of traffic maps, it gives a complete description of what to expect before you begin your drive to work or wherever. Great job!

If you like maps with optional overlays of information, you will love this app. It is very comprehensive and the customer service is amazing.

It took a little while to learn what the symbols mean and only turn on 1 or 2 at a time.

Takes some getting used to as the app is very busy with lots going on, but once you master it all the info you could ever want is right there. Tech support people are very helpful too!

I've been using EweatherHD for several years! I've been recommending it to friends by showing them the cloud satellite! Love the cloud satellite! But it's DELETED from the app and now I have to BUY this to get the cloud satellite???? Also cloud satellite DOESN'T EVEN WORK! WHAT A MESS!

Very detailed radar. So detailed in fact that I only use a few of the options so that it's less cluttered. Has traffic, but I haven't used it yet. I got for the radar and am not disappointed.

I've been using this app for a bit over a week now and on the whole I've been very impressed by both it's accuracy and design,a very nice addition to the original E.weather app.

Have been using for around a year. I have NO complaints. Worth every penny works all of the time, and where ever I travel.

Veru detailed and nice app. Realy example of Rusian programing skill. Thank you for no Material or stupid and empty Holo GUI!.Maybe it will be good to prolong the timing of the settings menu and Tooltips on the maps!?

I've used their eWeather HD app for years and absolutely love it. It is the acme of weather apps that I've found. This app has some overlap but also some new functions that make it a worthwhile tool to have as well. So much packed into these apps. Great job on not only your apps but your support.

I have eWeather HD about 2 years now and I love it. Today I installed Animated Weather Map and Radar and it took less than 5 min. for the developer to activate it. Thanks.
