Barki & Karl der Kleine

Was wäre Aachen ohne Karl den Kleinen und was wäre Karl der Kleine ohne seine heiß geliebten Aachener Printen? Und was wäre der AKV-Kinderkarneval ohne sein Maskottchen Barki, dem Ur-Enkel des legendären Aachener Bahkauv, das jedes Jahr in der Karnevalszeit die kleinen und großen Jecken zum Lachen bringt? Die Geschichte der Kaiserstadt müsste neu geschrieben werden.

Entwickelt wurde eine Augmented Reality App die Barki und Karl der Kleine in eine dreidimensionale Welt entführt und wortwörtlich auf dem Comic herumlaufen lässt und dies natürlich ebenfalls von einer Aachener Kreativagentur DOMENICEAU – www.domeniceau.de.

Die App wird durch ein weiteres Highlight erweitert, was der Stadt Aachen gleichzeitig ein digitales Denkmal setzt. Am Markt der Stadt Aachen wurde eine Bronze Minuskel verankert, die durch die App die beiden Charaktere Barki und Karl der Kleine virtuell aus dem Stauferkeller unter dem Markt holt. Ein zusätzliches Feature ist die Fotofunktion die es ermöglicht sich mit den zwei Augmented Reality Figuren am Markt der Stadt Aachen fotografieren zu lassen. What would Aachen without Karl the small and what would Charles the Small without his beloved Aachener? And what would the GAB Kinderkarneval without its mascot Barki, the great-grandson of the legendary Aachener Bahkauv that brings in carnival time the small and large revelers annually laugh?
