DKN Motion for Android
What can I say, the app doesn't connect although I have paired my tablet, buttons are not functional as said by all other users, a great shame so many possibilities waisted
Just locks after discovery snd does not do anything
Bought this machine to work with this app, IDIOT later found does not work with Samsung Tab S.
Used this for for 6 months on android4 tablet. ? On android6 I can pair to the bike but the app wont connect. Could we get this fixed please.
I was going to use this with the DKN AM-5I but it won't even connect over bluetooth using my Samsung phone even though the phone has paired. Come on DKN, you should be ashamed. You produce very good exercise equipment but you have let us down with this app. Get some app designers in and get it sorted. For those looking for an alternative try the VESCAPE app. Excellent application but you have to pay a subscription after the trial period.
This app only works with a very specific set of devices and even then it does so rather poorly. Resolution is not adapted to the specific device, so buttons and text appear in strange places. On my 1080p G2 it was possible to use *some* functions, but on a 720p and 480p screen it was completely unusable. Probably made for 7" 1080p screen.
In Cardio mode, instead of the 2 minute warm-up you would get when using this mode through the console, the app sets the warm-up time to be the same as the selected workout time. In other words, if you ask for 30mins, you actually end up having to do a 1hr workout... 30mins in non-cardio mode and then 30mins in cardio mode. Can this be fixed please. Also, the app is incompatible with 1024x600 displays. These things are a shame, as they spoil what is otherwise a good app.
Very poor app, it does not work with Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition due to resolution differences. How hard can it be to get a fix? very hard as it would seem cos after a year still not fixed so unistalled.
Clock runs twice as fast as real time. I can apparently average 45kmh very flattering. And no machine control from tablet.

App does not work with modern tablets, the apps resolution means that the interface does not display properly.
It does not work FULL STOP. Don't even bother trying it.
Unable to use menu. Graphics resolution incorrect. Almost no customer support which is unforgivable. Wake up DKN your customers are not happy at all.
App doesn't work on apple or android
This app is one of the prime features of expensive DKN fitness equipment but it cannot handle the high screen resolution of a high spec tablet. Your literature claims to support devices using Android 3.1 or higher. You are misrepresenting the functionality of your expensive equipment - and hence mis-selling! This is unacceptable. Please fix immediately.
Utterly useless on Nexus 10, Galaxy S3 & Experia 3. The user interface is so bad that I am unable to even progress through the menu's. Considering that this app is one of the main selling points of the i-series bikes, this is a disgrace and DKN should be held accountable!
If the app is the reason to buy the exercise bike, then don't buy it. The app is TOTALLY unusable. Never seem anything so bad. Shame on the company for using it as a selling point.
Doesn't work and crashes on numerous devices (even tried an iPad version! Just as bad). Contacted DKN to give my opinions and they didn't reply. If you are buying the equipment for the app, do not bother. I was looking for a treadmill to go with my recumbent bike, and will certainly NOT be getting a DKN model. A real shame because the machine is good and could have been excellent. When customer service doesn't even bother to reply then you know, they have no intention of supporting or fixing the app.
For a company that makes such well engineered fitness equipment this app falls well short of the standard of the rest of their range. Very disappointed indeed.
I have just recently got the exercise bike and am very impressed by the build, quality and performance. I did not expect too much from the Motion software on my HUDL and was not disappointed. The software is useless and I have taken off my tablet. It is a shame that the exercise bike is let down by such awful software. It would have better not to advertise it in the first place.
I've bought a XC 150i and the app sure doesn't work on my Samsung 8.4 Tab. Entire app touch areas is misaligned, so I have no idea where to click what. Very disappointed.
As per other reviews this app is a waste of time installing. Shame really as it works fine on my wife's ipad
How can a company really choose to release such a poor quality product? Is this app synonymous with the quality of their hardware I wonder....
Utterly Broken for Nexus 7
Installed OK but the user interface leaves a lot to be desired...icons and fields aren't where they are supposed to be, so a lot of guesswork is involved when entering data or selecting programs. It is useable...just....but needs some work to make it an enjoyable experience. Such as shame as the technology involved has so much potential.

Installed ok on my Nexus 7. Linked up as well to the DKN AM-6i with no probs at all. All functions appear and operate as advertised. Found a way also to set the AM-6i to work in Mph. For those who want Imperial: Press and hold depressed both the "Up" & "Down" buttons together for about 3 seconds. Screen will then allow changing to mph. Press Enter Don't alter the next screen as it identifies the computer to your machine. Change the DKN motion to Imperial.
I read the reviews for this app before purchasing the associated DKN cross trainer, but was still disappointed at the poor quality of the android app. It's clear that the app is unable to adjust to different screen resolutions - a basic requirement of any well-written application. The app is basically unusable on a Hudl 7" tablet. The buttons and labels are not aligned, and some buttons cannot be pressed at all. Despite the high resolution of the display it is not possible to see all the critical information on a single view (eg. Calories burned plus Resistance level). Message to DKN - get this rewritten or updated. It is hurting sales of your exercise equipment !
Installed OK on a Google Nexus 10. Connected OK to the DKN XC-150i elliptical trainer. But after that the app is virtually unusable. Trying to set up a user profile is virtually impossible as none of the icons and links line up. Would be perfect if the app would auto adjust to the screen resolution of the tablet being used. I'm very disappointed as this app was one of the main reasons I purchased the elliptical trainer. The app definitely needs a major update.
The appliction does not support the right resolution for android tablets. All icons are placed wrong and on top of each other. For Android this app is all WRONG. Don't use/buy
Not optimised to work on a 10 inch tablet nor a smart phone appears to only work properly on a 7" tab. Lazy development.
Terrible app completly unusable on nexus 7 all images are set sizes that dont scale to the smaller screen size, should be listed as unsupported for this device
The app doesn't work on my Nexus 7 because of the screen size. Some buttons are off-screen. If this can be fixed, I'm happy to give it another try. Fixed! It works like a charm now!

Was this written by chimpanzees? Firstly it will not connect to the bike despite my phone being able to see it, the UI is so damn small you cant even read anything. Employ someone to build you people a real app!
