Waste of time and money! Not user friendly, directions iffy, only found 1 site using this app. Tried to save room in the suitcase and left book at home, big mistake! Use the book and forget this app!!! Missed multiple sites we wanted to see driving in circles.

Fantastic app, particularly together with the corresponding kindle book. Anywhere you are (or will be) it enables you to find out sights, restaurants, beaches, etc., then navigate to them using GPS. In the case of restaurants, you can also make reservations immediately by clicking on the phone numbers. A killer app for any smartphone. Just awesome.

We have the Big Island Revealed book from 5 years ago and the current version. The book is excellent and I highly recommend purchase if you are visiting or living on the Big Island. This app, on the other hand, is worthless if you have the book. I bought it, understanding this would a companion to the book for a live geo locator or map service to locations we planned for the day. None of these were possible with this app. I am not sure how this app is of any value to anyone. This is the most I have pa

First I purchased the book, then the app. I couldn't have planned my trip without it. I have Sprint and I barely got any service on the Big Island, so having this app download everything to my phone was a life saver. Saw so many amazing things I might not have otherwise had the opportunity to see. Totally worth the price. Love the feature where you can find sights/activities/adventures/etc near you just using the GPS on your phone.

This app comes in handy when you travel around the island without a data plan on your phone. We've already used it a bunch to find a good place to eat, and see exactly where we are on the map. A bit pricey, but worth it. The only problem I've found is that the pinch-zoom is somewhat clunky.
