About to make a long cable pull and want to make sure the cable doesn't break? With the Cable Pull Calc app you can model a conduit run in 3D and calculate the tension required to pull the wire(s).
Add wires to the conduit run and the tension calculations, jam ratio and percent fill will output to a formatted report.
Notable Features:
- Rotate and zoom the conduit in 3D to verify that the run matches the installation
- Preview the formatted report prior to sending it
- Make multiple cases for each modeled conduit (i.e. multiple parallel conduits with different wires in them)
- Add you company header to the report
- Change the report font

I regularly use other electrical apps by Comoving Magnetics (Electrical Pro, PV Toolbox, Panel Scheduler, and Single Line) for my job, and this is just another great app that I find extremely useful. Previously to do my cable pull calculations I was using an awkward software program on my desktop. However, now with this app I can do the calculations anywhere, view the conduit run in 3-dimensions, and then output the results for me to include in our calculations report! Also, the developer is very quick to respond to user questions and problems. Oh, and make sure you read the app's instructions so that you fully understand how to use the app!

Interface is lacking, the amount of options is limited (eg enabling SI units), only a fixed number of sizes of ducts which can be used, defining route profile could be much more intuitive.
