I don't get the bad reviews. This is the best VR player for movies out there. I have tried them all. Really, all the ones available as of today. And this is the only one that it is usable for watching a movie. It does the proper image processing, plus some great ambient visuals. There are some limitations like battery drain, drift, and resolution, for sure, but none of them is the responsibility of the developer, and rather of your phone. I haven't used the Plex plugin though. Thanks to the developers!

It is improved. Like the access to YouTube. Make it access all Tubes including Vimeo. One thing missing though that was there in the previous is ability to change and choose the seat. This was the most coolest feature,please bring it back. I liked the old red cenema. Can you make ability to choose between cinema Rooms. I.e chose betwee old one and new one and maybe some extra ones. I love it though. The diming lights was more simple before. Now is just on or off.how can I steam my computer screen & games.

Not terrible, but room for improvement. First, I paid for the Plex add-on, can't get it to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, still didn't work. For an app that I paid twice for, I hoped it would work. Also, it doesn't really seem to have full 180 or 360 video. It works, but It will not zoom in far enough. It never allows you to immerse yourself. The viewer always feels like you are watching from a theater - that is fine if watching a movie on netflix - but not that great for other videos. You can turn off the theater view and make it a void surrounding, but you can't zoom in enough to hide the black void surrounding the screen. Other than that, great viewing app. Very easy to navigate without breaking your neck or doing some crazy yoga pose to reset the drift. I'm still glad I purchased it and I hope to see future improvements. Keep building on it and it could become the best VR viewer out there.

Screen looks huge. Quality cinema surroundings and loads of customisation options. YouTube and YouTube3D works perfectly and voice search integration works perfectly and it reads my phone storage well. Haven't tested the Plex integration yet but looking forward to it when it gets fixed. As for the dynamic lighting effects.... Take my money!

I bought this and than spend the extra money for the plex upgrade just to find out the plex upgrade is almost unusable. Wait, it is NOT usable. It locks up and boots me back to home screen every time. Updated plex app. Updated this app. I will return to this app later on when not so buggy.

This is the best way I have found to stream 3d movies on my LAN. I already used Plex for my other movies and TV shows, so this app works great as a 3d addition. My only complaints are that the text in the menus are blury, and the select on center is too sensitive. I keep selecting the wrong item when I am just trying to read what they are! Auto detection of SBS or TAB would be nice as well as an exit button.

I would like a lock feature so screen doesn't drift! I don't mind if its locked centered! App no longer works as of 4/28/2017 on Android N. Use to work before now it doesn't. I've not seen any features recommend nor applied. Optimization hasn't improved since I bought the app last year. Needs to be scrapped and start fresh. I might start looking elsewhere for a better cinema experience.

For some reason, this can't see all my movies on a 4TB network drive, if it did.......this app would rock. But it sucks since I can only see 30 movies available out of a possible 1000. ETA: Cheers for the reply, can't wait for the update ;)

Has potential but a few fixes are in order. Drift is really annoying the 10 second lay your phone on a flat serface thing doesn't work at all. Didn't like the cursor seleccting stuff when you are trying to read something. Also it seems to be a little blurry when trying to read the words for the different selections but hey that could be just the Google cardboard that I'm using I don't know if it's the same for anybody else. Keep up the good work.

Please can you fix this problem, i can't select any movie because it keeps refocusing my head position before im able to select a movie. You all should make it like a option so that after we pick the movie we can then put it so it can refocus during the movie, I'll rerate after this is fixed.

Awesome app! I love that it fully supports the mkv format and lighting/visuals are great! As of this review the app has a 3.5 overall rating, but it's very obvious that it should be much higher. This is hands down the best VR player in existence!

Bought the full app but when selecting a folder or a video on YouTube it takes me back to my home screen. Very disappointed as the demo work very well. Could you please assist.

After a bit of looking around I settled on this app for my vr movies and I'm very pleased. Large screen, detailed environment, and it plays everything. It does crash every once in a while when trying to load things and the screen does decide to drift off for whatever reason. Currently unable to connect to Plex, which I payed for.

Its the closest app to oculus cinima Good render of a movie theater works well on Note 3 using the BOBOVR only problem is the void only has a horizontal plain this needs to be changed so if you want to lay down and watch a movie or YouTube then there is no need to be in a sitting position, please fix because you charge enough for the app and it really needs this feature fixed. Using on a note 2 is very choppy. Still would like to lay on my back and use still seems to have slight floating issues.

Love the app and it would be brilliant if you could add a search feature in local, nas drive smb of which will seek any word in a title without requiring exact spelling or whole title. Giving a result 1 or videos that can be played back together. Plus if you tie this in with sort by date:newest/oldest, name: ascending/descending.file size. I'd love if you could keep playing a video and browse to the next one. Auto Continuous playback, one video to the next. Next big step is a library indexing and fanatic.and descriptions

Bought this thinking I'd be able to sign in to my Plex account and stream anywhere. Only works for a local server and crashes a lot. Has potential, I'll certainly keep it, rather than refund. Hopefully more features will be added

I love it but for some reason the movies lag behind for me... When I watch the same file on my Xbox off my USB the audio syncs fine... But on the app I lags. Other than that good concept!

This app for me is perfect. I was able to watch YouTube, MP4 files and was even able to use the app as an external player on other apps like Terrarium TV which meant i could watch movies and TV shows online in vr on my phone. However because i am partially sighted, it's hard to read the text in some of the menus so if you guys could make the text bigger that would be awesome. Thanks for the awesome app definitely worth the money and this 5 star i am writing as well.

Love the graphic. Very nice. I have paid for this, but unusable. I am having double vision on my Wearality Sky with 8.4 inch tablet. Please add more flexible IPD setting and more FOV choices. I am using Wearality Sky, so need IPD of around 50 and 150 FOV.

Subtitle won't work even utf8 art with same name as video. Only used it over land but it should load the subtitles anyway as my smart TV does

Hi, I have a question about subtitles. I tried to use the option to download subtitles for the movie suicide squad, but nothing happened. Posters didn't work either. Is there a way to fix this or a work around? Thanks

Edit: now the drifting issue is much less noticeable. Plex works like a charm with dlna enabled. 5 stars now! - - - - - - - - - - cons: this app causes overheat in my phone and the battery drain is intense, but it's "normal" with vr apps in general.

I have a new device Note 7 and new micro sd card and the external card STILL does not show up when clicking the folder for it in the UI. This is with 4.7. Do you devs really check this works??

At first it stopped tracking my head movement and now I can't even use the app! It keeps crashing! Fix it ASAP plz.

The local file selector for this application is completely unusable. Not only does it fail to agregate video files into a single virtual directory -- something that every other Android app seems to be able to do -- but it apparently cannot detect or access the vast majority of directories on my phone, so I cannot even select video files directly. To say I am disappointed is to put it far to mildly.

It is definitely my go-to VR player, but it sometimes freezes and the video goes wacko and finding great YouTube content is quite a bit of trouble. It was definitely worth the money, though.

The app seems really cool. Out of the various cinema apps I've tried, this one seems to have the best lighting and the screen appears to be the perfect size. Unfortunately, I spent $7 on an app that, for me, is useless. I store all of my 3-D content on my SD card and the app can't access the card on my LG G5. Several e-mails to the developer have gone unanswered, and Google won't refund my money. If they can get the SD function working, I think this would be my go to app for watching 3-D movies on my headset.

Good app but icon text at bottom too small. Really was getting frustrated trying to figure what they said. I only figured out by trial and error. Regular text at the top was fine.

I can't access my own YouTube profile nor my watch later list... Really disappointed... On top of that, I can't access my external SDcard...

Everything is good especially the theatre look i would give 5 stars if plex or play on worked. After buying plex on the app it wont load my files

Works as intended, just doesn't look anywhere near as good as Netflix VR on my Daydream with a Moto Z. Seems like it is lower resolution. Daydream support will earn this app 5 stars if it ever happens.

This app is pretty good, other than the easily correctable drift issues and the lack of scenery variety(cinema or void). However I'm disappointed in the fact I now have to pay another 2.99 for a Plex add-on, even though I played like 5 for the app. Combine that with the lack of new features (No obvious ones, I haven't checked the change logs) and I'm left a bit disappointed. The app itself isn't bad, but it still has potential

Really impressed by the whole cinematic experience and quick access to options menu but since the recent update I have very bad drifting issues and have tried the necessary fixes but unsuccessful. I have asked the developer if I can go back to an earlier version but no response? If fixed, perfect app...

The movie screen in too high compared to other pleasures. This means you eye balls are looking at the bottom of the screen. To see the movie you have to look up. Plex plugin never finds server. Ok. It found my plex server once and never found out again. Pretty much unusable.

I really really really like this app but not sure why all of a sudden it started to glitch out on me. It's to the point where it's unusable.

Have problem with LAN option finds my pc and move to desired shared folder, but when selecting file to play keeps crashing. Any ideas
