Cmoar VR Cinema Demo

This app is excellent, it feels like you are really in a cinema . The ability to watch you tube 3d content is fantastic.. the only thing stopping me from buying the full version is that when I click on sd card the app doesn't find my film folder... I tried taking a film out the folder but the app still couldn't find it. I had this issue with another vr cinema when they listed "sd card ", I clicked it and it done the same as this app , however , they also had " ext sd " listed and when I chose that it worked

What's the point of this demo if I can't see how media looks on the screen? The UI is nice and it's great to be able to navigate with headset movement; I understand that this is a cinema app but if you took all these features and allowed for a full screen view and 180-360 degree options in the menu then this would be the best VR player is the store.

Perhaps the full version is worthy of more than one star however this demo version is not. It does not allow the viewing of any video, but instead only offers the ability to look around the theater. One should not have to wade through reviews to learn that this is by design. It should be clearly stated in the description. As it stands, this demo is a useless waste of a 64mb download that is completely ineffective at showing the user what the app is capable of and thus coaxing them to purchase the full version. The demo should allow the user to view random short snippets of no less than one minute of any video. Not just the beginning of a video as movies often lack any substantive content at the beginning. The user should also be able to test the controls. Until the demo offers a true glimpse of what the full version is capable of, it's impossible to justify making a purchase.

Looks great but I can't bring myself to buy a video watching app based on a demo that doesn't even let you view 10 seconds of video. Yes I know the demo isn't intended to show video but it could be so much better a marketing tool for you if it did.

Using a Nexus 6p, this demo crashes all the time. The demo does not inspire enough confidence that the full version will be able to access my network shares or be stable enough. Therefore I can't justify buying the full version.

Disgusting app. Cant even operate . waste of time n data. Useless. You have to take a 2-3 year course to operate this.. F%u#

The demo doesn't access my network. I get a "exception initializing smb" error. I would like to buy the full version, but I want to know it would work with my network.

The drift is horrible, I didn't even make it through looking at all the settings before I had to look over my shoulder to see the screen. I can definitely see how it's more immersive than other theatre apps however. If I had an option to realign when I drift and I could watch a sample clip I'd have no problem paying for the full app.

Don't waste your time. This demo version does NOTHING. What a shame.

ZTE Axon 7, all VR app run fine but this vr cinema stutters a lot / bad framerate, it is uncomfortable to look around but interface and environment are really cool. Will have to find some other vr cinema... I liked the possibility to change environments but it stutters too much, I would buy the full version if it were as smooth as normal cardboard apps. Maybe it's because of the used tracking algorithm? I would appreciate the developer's answer, I don't want to waste 6 euros in the full version to test

Aim and wait is just painful and prone to error. This app would be PERFECT if button is well supported.

Same problem as pretty much all Cardboard vr programs, doesn't support subtitles unless you have them on an external .srt file. So if you've an mkv with them built in? They don't work. Not worth a paid app.

Could be great. Drift is awful. Focus is something to be desired as well.

I open the app and it shows it for 3 sec then closes the app and i have a note 4 so....what's wrong

Whilst a nice looking cinema, the option to play video is primarily disabled (80% of screen blocked off) unless you pay resulting in this app being completely useless as a video player in this state. In my opinion, they should either make only "advanced" features (3D YouTube, LAN, etc) in the pay option, or remove the free option altogether as it wastes users time and gives them false hope.

This is a great looking theater app but has some serious flaws. Namely the constant drifting to the right once you start looking around or using the menu. Basically you start the app in the center of the theater and as soon as you look around or use the menu to find a file, you will look back up at the screen and be completely off centered. Tapping the screen will re-center you but you litteraly have to do that every time you use the menu. IF YOU WANT MORE PEOPLE TO BUY YOUR APP, FIX IT!!!

This app has the potential to be the greatest thing to happen to VR, and to the way we view videos. But the drift is terrible. I offer this, I am on a note 4 and in landscape, the drift is terrible when I take my phone out of the viewer in landscape I see the drift as well. However in portrait mode there is no drift at all. Maybe that info can help you fix it. If you fix the drift I will buy the pro version, and rate 5 stars with a great review.

But can't watch a demo to decide if it's worth buying. Can't check my own movies as most of the screen is blocked till you pay, have no problem paying if it's any good but....you get my point.

Please fix and make it more easier to see the 3d. My eyes strain with this app for some reason

I love the pictures and the video I saw of the app an d I absolutely love it but every time I try to launch it, the unity picture comes up the settings logo at the bottom comes on for a split second then the app comes off. Please can u help me fix this please? thx.☺

Hi Cmoar staff and personnel, I'm very interested in helping you guys grow! I see mobile vr becoming one of the next best things and I'd like to help expand its fan base! I would like to make a video show casing your equipment for the world to see via YouTube! I'm very skilled in various tweaks and optimizations! I will show mmorpg players as well that this product will give their gameplay a much more authentic feel to the game and even make old ones look new for less money then the oculus rift! Take care!

I love what this app is trying to do and from what I could see in the demo it looks promising. I found the menu difficult to navigate and was disappointed not to find a free demo video. I felt like I really was sitting in a movie theatre, albeit with a broken projector.

As others have said, drifting is very bad. Before you know it you're practically looking straight up in order to look forward inside the cinema. If they just had a view reset option it wouldn't be so bad I guess but certainly not worth buying the full version unless you like having a jacked up neck.

This app cannot be used for devices without gyroscopes.Some apps are available for my phone by using its magnetic sensor and orientation sensor.If this app uses such method,I would give 5 stars

Amazingly beautiful & realistic. Giant screen as in "imax". Worth every penny!

I bought the pro app and it is amazing, but the drift problem it's a really big issue, so I asked to be refund... Of course I tried to put the phone on the table for 10 seconds but nothing happened... It's a shame because it would be the perfect vr app....please fix it and let me know....I will buy the app immediately!!!

Awesome vr theatre experience, but not worth it to me until there is full DLNA//uPnP support, is that in your plans, if so when? Would buy full version if/when that functionality is added.

The fact that I am unable to see if I even enjoy watching a video in this way is annoying. Please either put in a demo video, or give us a limited number of views with our own/YouTube.

Hi, i down loaded the demo to test it out using it on gear vr+note 4. This does exactly what I need except that it doesn't work. Selecting smb causes the app to crash. I can see my network share with es explorer. Also I cannot trial a video using es explorer "open with" dialog. It only shows "buy to unlock". I also cannot correct the drift. The option is there but no numbers. And when I select it it says "off" and I can't turn it back on. Kindly help solve it. Gear vr/oculus has no lan streaming option.

You can have at least added an option to view sample videos on your demo version. It's a demo for crying out loud. How are we supposed to test it out before purchasing if we can't even play a single video. Defeats the purpose. And the drift issue -- it's just as worse.

Crashes all the time. . Doesn't load. . What a nice graphics and such a bad app. . Lucky I didn't opt for the paid version

Looks promising but seriously, at least have an option to play a demo video and fix the drifting please. I'd buy this app as soon as these two things are fixed.

This is by far the best VR cinema app I've ever used. However, the calibration isn't great. I don't know why the screen keeps on drifting. I set my device on a flat surface for 10 seconds (as instructed) and I still get the same problem. Please update this app and I will definitely give it 5 stars! Plus, I will buy the full version!

How to fix it. Setting doesn't seem to help. Please reply fast.

The theatre is amazing..but it's useless when there's nothing to watch on the screen.

I think it's a little messed up to have a demo version of a cinema app and you can't view any kind of video. Really?... not even a sample video?? I would consider paying for the app if I could see the quality of the content the app is designed to play. Fix and I will update review and buy if it lives up to description. ..because that's all we have to go on at this point.
