Please work on improving or replace this system, please listen to the customers. After more than 6 months, service still useless, please help us, save us CIB, really mean it. It is finally works great for at least 6 month now, thanks for the great effort .

Worse process ever. You need to write down 3 different long number sequences from a text message into the app and you are not able to switch between the app and SMS to copy and paste (the app restarts). By the time you succeed to do that part the website would have timed out (you need again to enter a long number from the app into the web browser). The app would continue to work without completing the process on the website but the service will not work and you will have to remove the app and reinstall and do this all over again. What is the point behind all this ! This goes for your customer care, even your responses are "canned" ones. You just copy and paste them without reading the review. Really pathetic

I was facing a problem to activate the token at the begining. The call center give me some help and everything is ok. And my transfer is done.Thanks CIB.

The application genarated codes are not acceptable. After failing trials to make a transaction the account was locked out. This was a terrible experience ????. after a lot of calls and trials CIB managed to fix the problem from there side. the application is working now and codes are recognized correctly . This month the problem is back. The result is my OTP is now locked and I am asked to contact CIB again by phone. I am in Belgium and international calls cost a fortune and I will not be back to Egypt shortly. My family needs there monthly payments. By the way we(the clients) do understand that the OTP expires after 60 seconds so please stop this reply. This is extremely unacceptable. I don't understand why you keep playing with something that is already working. This is affecting people life.

As all cib electronic services lately, from bad to worse, on the new website when pressing the online banking from mobile, its not working as its not a link !!! For two days now cant access my account cause of this, then thought to try the app, first thing appears : serial number of 7 digits, and no other info which number is this? My account number which is more 7 digits? Or what exactly? No hints or info, back to web site to read about how to start using the application: it says use your online banking login or register new user!!! Is that all?!?! No login in the first page of app to login and there is no even registration page, just this 7 digits page and some activation code. As usual have to call the call center which also lately have so many options and xhoices until i can reach someone to talk with, and ofcourse if calling from outside egypt its very costy. Have another bank account in one of European banks, no comparison. Too bad.

Kindly 60 seconds when you are using mobile transfer app not enough as you have to start the internet banking app again and sign in again and to write the another account number .. all of that can't be only in 60 seconds, as you can't switch between the apps because apps log out automatically. I think otb time need to be more than 60 seconds

so bad first experience!!! when used the app for the first time to do two transfers, the first is done successfully, but the second failed with either the CIB internet banking, or the CIB app, due to incorrect OTP, although i was very sure that it's correct by either copy and paste it, or by being very careful in typing it right, and all the trials was within the 60 seconds!!! And after that, the OTP have been locked out from CIB due to the wrong entering for several times, and although i'm traveling out of Egypt, but i called 19666 with an international call for 17 minutes to release the lock, but unfortunately couldn't do because the agent asked me to enter the "Settings" of the app to give her the "Counter" which is needed to proceed with the unlock process, but i didn't found the three dots in the app for the menu to go to the "Settings" to get that counter!!! N.B. i'm using the app with android version 5.1.1 on a Samsung Note Edge device, and it's up to date as i just installed it this week.

I have tried with this app multiple times today (more than 6 hours) and called customer service line from overseas 3 times and until now I can't get it to work, these is no settings feature in this app and it seems that it is not ready for use yet, can anyone help?

I changed my device and now it keeps crashing once it reaches the welcome screen. (unfortunately CIB OTP has stopped) Edit: i called the customer service line and changed the activation. Still not working, how am I supposed to finish my work this way?

I'm facing a problem for several months now with no one to care solving it or update me on what is wrong After upgrading my device to Android 6 the app doesn't open anymore with error message stating "configuration file corrupted " I've contacted the support via phone and email and yet no one has done nothing solving this

Hi, are you sure that this version works before, setting button doesn't appear even after trying it with 4different devices, I called 19666 with no result. The developers and testers worked in this app must be killed after you firing them, it looks like a graduation project.

Wherever I type the otp (within the 60 second frame) while trying to do an outside transfer, I get a message that the OPT number is incorrect. I called the customer service, they told me I should wait some days after the activation in order for the system to work. I waited and tried again, but still, same message, same issue...

This app needs alot of work before it is released like this to customers! No settings feature , not enough security (you can easily have a screenshot of your account!!) and the only 'help'it provides is the call centre number! Is this a joke? Pls check other decent apps like Barclays UK or HSBC.

Such app. is made to make the life easier not to examin th IQ of the customer and his ability of doing such complicated procedure, Actually it's a very complicated security which took me 3 hours to activate. I was hope CIB will have application for mobile banking and instead they only making the thing harder and harder

After I got the application running, now it crashes upon launching it!!! 1. When tried to make an online transfer, forces me to activate my token (which should be optional at least in the beginning of this new service), 2. Tried to activate the token: no SMS received because the service is down! Gentlemen: why do you release a software that is not ready for usage? Banking apps are very critical not a mobile game!

I knew a solution for the problem of not activated for anyone have a problem please change the settings of date and time on your mobile to be automatically by network as one of my friends in another bank told me this and after I changed it it was activated

i have gone to the cib branch and fill the form for otp 2 weeks ago. still till now i cant access my otp program. i called 19666 and they informed me that there is no problem and that i shall acess internet banking first and activate my free otp. when i did that the following message appears " Attention! Sorry, you have not yet signed the Higher Authentication Application Form. Please visit your nearest branch to sign it before activating the token.

I tried it several times but each time a different problem occurs. when I called 19666 the call centre told me to write to the bank. so I did, but the problem still exists and I still cannot transfer any amount outside CIB. the system is not working properly and I gave up because it is clear, the CIB is not professional enough to handle IT problems.

I wished that the biggest private bank in Egypt had tested this extremely inefficient application which is full of bugs before making its customers suffer each time they want to do a simple transfer. Even customer services often give wrong suggestions to fix the problems we have...I guess because the application is full of bugs. The usual justification of security is so naive because making an application secure doesn't meqn comprising efficiency & simplicity. I would rate it zero star if it is allowed.

The worest application for international bank you will deal with also the customer services in the phone banking must have 0 rating not supportive at all , the wisdom : if you want to be like HSPC or other banks release this service you should be able with strong simulation in your selves before your customers , 5 days my account had been locked many times and the problem still present with 0 action from the bank.

What's wrong with you? Every time I try to insert the token it fails, then a lock is placed on the account, then I call you at 19666 then you lift the lock, then you tell me to try again then it works, the next month I repeat all these procedures again.

The app is ridiculous. Can not copy and past code in the very first verification step. Internet Banking always times out by the time i manually enter the numbers. This whole token process registration is not user friendly

Actually I'm scared of the worst experience I have ever met, seriously I think to close all my account at CIB because the troubles I met with that useless app. Many trials install and Uninstall ,calls to customers service,stress and waste time....mercy please return to confirmation code by SMS to the mobile .this is secured enough like most of banks worldwide

Is the APP a f**king joke?????? ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! They change from a simple SMS to this ridiculous APP and it doesn't even work. Here's a tip CIB........MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WORKS PROPERLY BEFORE YOU FORCE PEOPLE TO USE IT!!

Bad application, can not proceed even with the generated OTP code. I don't know whats the logic behind this ridicules app the service was working well and secured. before doing such you should make sure its working. CIB is a great bank but this is really disappointing

This is ridiculous, after receiving the SMS and starting the App for the first time it asks for this insanely long number to be entered manually (the app does not allow pasting in those fields), then on the third step comes the real joke; it asks for a password (a 4 - digit one) and whatever you write and submit it says "weak password" and you won't be able to proceed CIB EGYPT this app is a joke
