With this app you will be able to choose whether you want to mute alarms and media when your phones ringer mode is set to vibrate or silent. Previous volume levels will be set once the phone returns to the normal ringer mode.
Pro tip: set your alarms to ring + vibrate if you want to have them vibrate even when muted.

Thank you very much for this; it's one of just a few apps to mute alarms currently. One tiny thing I noticed for improvement so far: the (first) setup page has a spelling error on the description for the 'Mute Alarms' option of 'virate' instead of 'vibrate'.

This app is a must if you don't want your alarms going off in the cinema. The only thing missing is an option for alarms to vibrate.

I do not know why phones do not do this already. How about a restore alarm volume when phone volume is restored, like for media, then I would give 5 stars. Nice app!
