Bosch Remote Security Control

Turns the alarm on and off. Limited functionality. Really, All it does does turn it on and off. Its unable to turn it on in the instant mode. It ALWAYS defaults to delay. Camera function is a joke. It defaults to snapshot mode so you cant get true motion out of it. 1 image every 2 seconds is what you get. No option to change it. Thanks Bosch, I bought your crappy camera to enable video integration. Mistake! What I would like to see changed. Instant on available. Bypass points Better camera options (Real Video, H264) Third party cameras supported.

Too complicated to set up. The profile setup requires two separate programs plus a way to transfer the certificate file to the mobile device. No support for Solution 6000 either! Why bother? Paradox and DSC do a much better job. Even bloody Risco is easier...

Had the initial problem of the app not selecting the profile, but I followed instructions of another reviewer by uninstalling, reinstalling, then reselecting the profile. Works great!

The gsm connection fails just often enough to question reliability with the app.

Using solution 3000 with b426. Has potential but this panel of the future is about 10 years behind where it should be. Still a clunky piece of kit.

Think its rediculous that people like myself who have spent thousands on the bosch 3000 alarm system then have to spend another $500 to get the dealers to install other modules into the touch panel. What a joke.

I am unable to use this app on my new Galaxy S7 Edge. I have been trying to load the profile certificate on my new phone and keep getting an error message saying "Cannot load profile". I was able to get it to work on my Note 7, however and it worked fine. UPDATE: I discovered that if you load the application into the background first then open the profile from my vendor from the email, it works.

Works fine. Very limited functionality with Solution 3000. No timestamps on events or push notifications. No log details of arm or disarm. Basically a glorified key fob.

Update: it did finally work and worked pretty well with the HTC one(m8). Now I have a galaxy s7 and the app keeps crashing. After an uninstall/install it started to work.

Wife and I got new phones and upgraded to V 2.7.1 of this app from 2.7.0. Now we can't load our certificates. What's up?

The most recent update deleted all my certs I had installed! C'mon guys..

Works fine on Samsung S5 using 5.0. Using system 3000. Created certificate myself. Can't wait to upgrade system to use outputs. Just getting a module communication error with the b426 and the 3000 on the house control panel (nothing to do with this app). Doesn't effect operation of system... Just annoying... Any ideas?

The s6 won't import a panel cert into the app. The app just says failed. Not very informative as to why. Yes I've disabled a-z features etc etc uninstalled etc etc. ....something new is causing the issue

Was frustrated by the app crashing when I tried to load a panel certificate. Uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded the cert again, and voilà! The app works again.

Application will not open up security certificate from dealer sent in an email.

The app used to work and now it doesn't I'll change my review when it's fixed. When it worked it did everything it was supposed to. Relay and door status buttons were slow to change, if it was fixed in the new version I couldn't say since it doesn't work anymore. .....UPDATE..... The app now works again. I like when it works but I have little faith that it will really work when I need it. Also, for some reason it doesn't work on coworkers phone of the same type.

Basic control only. Cannot arm part/perimeter. Cannot bypass points. If your are away from home or business and a point malfunctioned all you can do is disarm the alarm. PLEASE! Add more options. I configure relays to trigger options but the basic panel only supports 2 or 4 custom functions. I use one for the garage opener and one for part on. Of course this uses 2 zones and 2 relays. Add more custom functions to panel while your at it.

If I had known how weak this app is I wouldn't have purchased a Bosch system.
