Villa Krichelberg

De app Romeins verleden Kerkrade is een Augmented Reality (AR) app. Deze app maakt het mogelijk om gevonden elementen uit het rijke Romeinse verleden van Kerkrade zichtbaar te maken in het landschap. In deze fase is enkel villa Krichelberg en het terrein rondom de villa in de app opgenomen.

Op het terrein van de villa in Kerkrade zijn een viertal markeringen aangebracht. Deze zogenaamde markers kunnen met behulp van de Augmented Reality functie binnen de app gescanned worden. Vervolgens worden zowel een 3D-reconstructie van Villa Krichelberg in het landschap getoond, als een drietal taferelen die zich in de Romeinse tijd rondom de villa zouden kunnen hebben afgespeeld.

Het villaterrein bevindt zich in Kerkrade in Zuid-Limburg op de Krichelstraat, tegenover nummer 38 en is vrij toegankelijk. Onderstaande link brengt u bij een afbeelding die meer uitleg geeft over de werking van de app en ook de te gebruiken markeringen voor de Augmented Reality modus bevat.

Deze app is een initiatief van gemeente Kerkrade en Stichting Instandhouding Kleine Landschapselementen Limburg (IKL). De app is ontwikkeld door BlueTea BV en de 3D-weergave van Villa Krichelberg is gebaseerd op een reconstructie van Dr. Ing. Kees Peterse van PANSA BV. The app Roman past Kerkrade is an Augmented Reality (AR) app. This app makes it possible to visibly found elements from its rich Roman past of Kerkrade making in the landscape.
