Tempo Monitor for Android
Tempo devices can monitor a variety of characteristics, including temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. In addition, they can concurrently act as an iBeacon.
Tempo devices are capable of storing up to 30 days of hourly readings internally. Once downloaded into the app, the data is then stored in the iPhone/iPad and a complete history of temperature, barometric pressure and humidity readings can be established.
Features include:
* Independently set frequency of data recordings for temperature, humidity and barometric pressure - change any of them from 5 minutes up to 24 hours (default is 1 hour).
* Calibrate the sensors in Tempo by applying an offset to each of the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure for even more accurate measurement.
* Powerful graphing function and the ability to download .pdfs of the graphs as well as raw data in .csv for each of the metrics.
* Have many Tempos connected at once and see all of their readings at the same time.
* Choose or take a photo to represent the device in the app.
* Animations to show when readings are being updated.
* Value based coloured rings provide a convenient at a glance indication of readings.
* Configure Tempo iBeacon settings (Major ID, Minor ID and range calibration).
* Set temperature alerts that run in the background for each device separately.
* Choose units of measurement for each device independently.
Initial release is being provided for early adopters, kindly provide us constructive feedback so that we can continue to improve this application. We fully expect to find issues with some flavors of Android devices and will quickly provide updates to address them.
Pretty buggy, frankly. Scans OK, but sometimes duplicates the monitors or fails to download the data. Two days I've been using it, only once has it successfully pulled up historical data.
Temperature only monitor buttons are not well built and rarely connect to my phone. Spent hours trying to scan and resetting. Would not buy again.
Ver 1.7 of the app has bugs in the min max temp alarm setting system. The data export to pdf generates a graph with the right side cut off so the latest data points don't show. Also, the app should have complete instructions built in. Requested improvements: more flexibility for data exports. Provide excel support. Also, when the temp alarm limits are exceeded, allow the device to send an email to designated recipients. Update 8/3/2015 Developer was responsive to fix bugs.
Another example for a company, that produced a well build device. programs a crap app full of bugs and never updates this app. I can read out data from my device (well, most of time), but i can't change the interval settings. I either get "device locked" or an "update failed". Downloading data works if the device has stored just some datasets, but fails when the device memory is nearly full or full. My tempo is now an overpriced paperweight.
Loses connection every 3-4 seconds. Alarm for max or min temp does not work. The classic app works so it's not the disc that's corrupted.
This worked so/so until Droid OS 4.4 now it's junk. Have not been able to connect with remote sensor ....??? Tried new batteries, tried uninstall reinstall app. Nothing...tried once more.. Finally success..... See how long this will last using Samsung Galaxy S5.

Just received my replacement unit because my first one was defective. This unit seems to work fine but the Tempo Env Monitor app. keeps on loosing connection with my new unit. If i switch back to Tempo Classic it works fine. Hope this app gets fixed because can only get temperature now. Unit does stay on but app looses connection and goes gray with error downloading when i click on the unit. I must leave it in manual download mode.
What's the difference between this and the classic app? I prefer the classic app pebble shortcut than the flower one

Finally works in Android 5+. And scanning seems to be working better now.
