About Time to Lose!

Time to Lose was created as a quick and simple method to get an estimate on how you could lose small amounts of weight simply by reducing the amount of calories you eat. First and foremost understand that this calculator assumes the lowest physical activity level, basic day to day stuff, no exercise. If you want to lose more weight faster, exercise.

By using the Harris-Benedict Principle it is possible to calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate) and use that result to determine how many calories you should eat per day in order to lose x number of pounds over y number of days. Constraints have been placed on all the fields to ensure the values don't get to crazy. If a certain value will not yield a result, remember to be realistic in your weight loss goals.

Good app...it does what it sais and makes figuring out calories very simple...but it needs more options.

It is the last thing you'd want to direct you with your weight loss. I guess I wanted too much out of it, because it didn't even estimate my 40 pound weight loss as realistic!
