About Wall Garden Sculptures Design
Some people have the notion that in order to buy artworks, one needs to be reasonably wealthy. However, with internet is taking over the world, paintings and sculptures of all kinds and prices are easily available. And, at times, you may fall in love with the work of a person who is an unknown novice and may end up liking it more than you liked the best work by a renowned artist.
Art, after all, is intriguing in its own way, because it can so easily be admired by one and disdained by the other. Its beauty is a matter of perception which differs from one eye to the other. When it comes to home décor, modern wall art sculptures can be credited for bringing about a revolution in urban societies these days.
Sculptures differ from paintings in a way that they are 3-dimensional. They have a more tangible presence and one can develop a stronger attachment with them. In terms of physicality, modern sculptures are gunning for our everyday rooms and lawns where we spend a lot of our leisure time.
For instance, the modern-day fountain sculptures can help us refurbish our gardens and lawns in a beautiful way. At the same time, they can be put to use since they create a watery presence in the gardens and lure birds.
Sculptures are also being sculpted in an array of sizes so that we can place them in different parts of our homes. They can look magnetic when positioned somewhere at the entrance or the archway. If you have a lavish hallway or a sprawling dining room, then the presence of these modern sculptures can add sophistication and elegance to your home.
Sculptures can conjure a magical ambiance both inside and outside your home. Those who have spacious homes must not let miss the chance to buy these decorative artworks to adorn their spaces. The good thing is that wall art sculptures that are sold these days are not limited into a single range based on prices. Even in terms of materials, they are found in different forms. While some people prefer metallic sculptures, made of bronze or other metal, there are some who opt for the more conventional and archaic form of stone sculpture, including marble sculptures of various colors.
Though an individual is free to make his/her choices, metallic sculptures work best for interiors while stone sculptures are mostly suited for exteriors.
A Buddha garden sculpture sits there, meditating, still, erect, eloquent, made of lifeless granite and yet some how emanating tranquility and love into the space of my heart. This was my experience while visiting the temple gardens at a local Buddhist temple.
I don't know about you but I think there is some thing special about a well designed Zen garden. Typically I have seen them have three major features. 1. A water feature; 2. Diverse greenery, trees and plants; 3. A magnificent Buddha garden sculpture. Sometimes I have seen sand and stone features also decorating a Zen garden.
What we will focus on is the importance of the Buddha garden sculpture. These statues are typically the focal points of any given section of the garden. Some times they are in the center of a grassy area or backed up against a wall, structure or large boundary / barrier. Designed to the focal point of the whatever space they are in it is also common that their enormous size gives the feeling of a monumental sculpture. This seems to evoke the passage of time when one immerses themselves as being apart of that very landscape. This is sort of a mystical inner meditation of your imagination, heart and intention.
The Buddha garden sculpture is always elevated on a null, pedestal or throne. This elevated status symbolizes the Buddha's illuminated status in humanity because of his enlightened state, wisdom, compassion and benevolence. Who better to be elevated and over looking us then one of such character!?
