It turned my banjo really nice. It sounds like it did when it was new. But I had to look at another app to see what my cords should be on a 5 string sense this is gear towards the 4 string. But I loved being able to pluck a string and it tells me the cord.

I snapped three strings for my first string. Could not reach the note the tuner was trying to have me reach. Also, only 4 notes are displayed for a 5 string banjo. As I tried to tune my First string, I found a note "f4" and tuned it to that. I tuned my fifth string to the note for the first string
