The Antichrist in Islam (ad-Dajjal)

Muslims believe that before the last hour, there will arise a character known as Ad-Dajjal (Arabic for the deceiver, the liar), also known as the Antichrist (al-Masih Ad-Dajjal). Just as the title of “Christ” has the same meaning in Christianity and Islam, the descriptions of ad-Dajjal and descriptions of the Antichrist in the Bible are very different. Once Allah’s Apostle stood amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah as He deserved and then mentioned the Dajjal saying, “the [sic] I warn you against him (ie the Dajjal) and there was no prophet , but warned his people against him. No doubt, Noah warned his people against him, but I tell you something about him which no prophet told his nation before me. You must know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not only one eye.
