About AlfaOBD Demo
Demo version of AlfaOBD software for diagnostics of Alfa-Romeo, Fiat, Lancia cars. Dodge Dart, RAM Pro Master/Pro Master City, Chrysler Delta, Ypsilon, Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Jumper models produced in cooperation with Fiat are also covered. Although the software is primarily targeted for car owners, it provides the features of professional scanners. Many dealer-level diagnostic and configuration procedures are available in the full version.
NOTE: if your Android device is not in the list of compatible devices on Google Play and you cannot install or upgrade your installation please contact info@alfaobd.com.
Make sure you have a compatible OBD interface. For the list of supported OBD interfaces see www.alfaobd.com.
NOTE: If AlfaOBD can not connect to a car ECU with the message "Interface reports NO DATA" or "Interface reports CAN ERROR" it most probably means your interface is not compatible or defective.

AlfaOBD features include:
- native support of Electronic control units used in Fiat group cars. Native support differs AlfaOBD from many other diagnostic applications providing only limited generic OBDII support of Fiat group cars.
- monitoring various dynamic parameters of engine, gearbox, ABS, climate control ECUs and graphical presentation as plots
- reading of static data: ECU identification, system status, fault codes with probable causes and environment information where applicable
- clearing of fault codes
- (Full version only) active diagnostics and configuration procedures for various equipment controlled by engine, gearbox, body computer, climate control, ABS, airbag, code control and other ECUs
- (Full version only) electronic key and RF remote control programming
AlfaOBD supports ELM327 and OBDKey Bluetooth interfaces on all Bluetooth-enabled Android devices and ELM327/OBDKey WLAN interfaces on rooted devices only. For details of configuration of connection to interface and car see application help.
Application available in Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Spanish. Languages are selectable via Setting.
The limitations of the demo version are:
- Application run time limit of 15 minutes. Application reverts back to the first screen after 15 minutes of connection to a control unit.
- No active diagnostic procedures available
- The number of scanned gauges is limited by four
- The number of monitored parameters is limited by four
All other features are operational. No time limit is imposed on the application.
NOTE: If plots are not updated, turn "Force GPU rendering" off in "Settings"->"Developer Option".

Have a Dodge Dart? This software combined with the OBDLink® MX Bluetooth adapter will put you in control of your Dart. If you change something or add a feature, you no longer have to visit the dealer to perform a PROXI-ALIGNMENT. Do it at home and save a few hundred bucks! It does so much more as well.

Just wondering if this is capable of doing oil change resets and service resets? I have purchased multiecuscan for the pc which is comprehensive and does all that but wondered if this might be a more portable option. Use mainly for fiat ducato.

It does work well but the interface is a bit clunky and could do with a full look and feel update.

If you pay on the Android Play Store you should not then have to email for an activation key. The only possible reason I can see for this is to prevent you from transferring it to a new device, which is scammy since the Play Store terms allow you to do that.

I am in the USA and own a dodge dart with multiair engine. i came across this app when i installed a fiat plugin for torque and decided to try it. well it didn't work because the USA regulates the CAN protocol since 2008 and fiat in europe has not converted over to this protocol. however upon contacting the developer i have gotten exceptional support and a high level of communication with prompt responses. this is an excellent developer and i hope there to be a USA compatible update in no time. this app does so much more than torque can as far as diagnostics and engine specific interfaces. though it doesn't replace torque, for a fiat this is far better on a diagnostic and repair level. i intend to purchase the full app.

What type of connection do i need to use this app on my car? I mean.. usb, mini usb2, bluetooth , wifi...? Ps. My car does not have bluetooth or Wifi. My car is 2006 alfa 159.
