The Adam Carolla Show

The show gets 5 stars. The app, not so much. Sometimes clicking the back button takes me all the way out of the app instead of getting back to navigate to other podcasts. Sometimes it shows file downloading but it's not, other times file is downloading but doesn't show it. I can only download one show at a time. If I try to click multiple shows for download them the original show is real choppy, or it will only do a partial download.

It's fine. I wish I could just play Adam's podcasts via the Google Play Music app with the rest of my podcasts. And you can't cast the show to listen on another device. I think people blindly give it 5 stars because Adam and the crew are fantastic instead of rating it how they really feel. But, I could be totally wrong. Get it on...kinda.

I like the update and access to all of Carolla digital. I still have to push the back button several times before I get to the main screen despite several updates to the app. That is the only reason it loses a star. It just keeps cycling between available episodes and the one I was listening to, rather than going back to the main screen until I cycle through three or four times

I gave 4 stars but I really mean about 4 and a half. My only complaints are with some of the screen layout for my fat thumbs on my Samsung galaxy 7... trying to adjust some playback options is tough for me... otherwise I love ACE and Carolla Digital!

Thank goodness for this app. I switched to Android some time ago, so I needed a non-itunes option. For a while I used the Podcast One app, but an update earlier this year turned the Podcast One app in to an awful-no-good-terrible-pile-of-maggot-ridden-corpses-and-raw-sewage. I wasn't able to listen to the podcasts for months until I found this app. The Carolla app is simple, functional, and not a space hog. It works great when I am in the back country out of service range. The playback is good. The UI is clear enough. I really like it and have no complaints.

I love the Adam Carolla show, Ace on the House... But this app sucks. It used to be good. UPDATE: newest version is a bit better, but they need to work on navigating within the app.

since the last update it's had more catalog errors and a personal complaint is it won't play downloaded content without an internet connection which defeats the purpose of downloading.

Navigating the podcasts is a nightmare. Want to change from ACS to Reasonable doubt? Be prepared to mash the "back" button anywhere from 3-15 times.... If you're lucky. ALL controls are gone now, hidden below and you have to drag them up - DUMB. This app is very quirky with downloads. Sometimes it refuses to download podcasts and other times, even though the podcast has been downloaded, it will simply stream the episode anyway - not good if you don't have unlimited data. Since the last update, the "skip ahead/back 30 seconds" buttons have been changed to 5 seconds. What the!? This app seems to get worse with each update. Love the podcasts but hate this app. PUT THE PODCASTS ON GOOGLE PLAY

Good sports is the worst thing to happen to the show. Supper anoying that I have to take time to fast forward thorough it everyday.

whose STUPID idea was it to only allow fast forwarding in 5 second increments? sheer idiocy!

Nice ok app but you either click the back button twenty times or once and it exits you out. Wish it didn't go to two parts because you lose downloads after a few days of not listening and limits episode count to ten or so without paying. Show is good but wish guests had more time.

Five star show one star app. They split the show into two pieces so you have to download both for one show. Will change my review if they make the app more user friendly.

Listened to the podcast for 2 weeks while going through withdraws. Only thing during that time that kept me laughing, thanks ace man!!!

It's quite a good app now. That's not to say that everyone isn't horrible at their job.

The best podcasts hands down. The App is getting better. Needs to be better for big fingers.

Been using this app for years now, has a bunch of great FREE content, I stream it Bluetooth in my car so I have something to listen to. As we all know radio is GARBAGE these days so I'm glad I have an alternative to listen to and pause, whenever I want. Also I'm not sure about the review that said it shuts off when the screen shuts off? Never had that problem, I'd check the settings. Get it on Aceman!
