LTC Timecode Generator Pro for Android
This app does not work with my Atomos Ninja Inferno. I downloaded LTC wav file and played through my phone and my Atomos recognized the signal and synced. Its clearly an app issue. Need a refund.
Great app! I've been using it for several months and it works for me. I do have two "minor" feature requests. (1) When TC starts have the selected options, frame rate and NDF, turn a color other than gray. This would help user to know what options were selected. (2) Change the word "Run" to "Stop" when TC is running. Maybe change background color to red.

This app saved me a lot of trouble and time. I plugged the wrong power adapter into my JL Cooper time code generator and it fried. I needed to test my lighting controller sync before I get on an airplane. It was Friday night, the stores were closed and I fly 1st thing Monday. I found this app, and was testing within 2 min. No manual needed, everything was easy to understand and my controller synchronized on the first try. Well done!
Gave it 3 stars because free version works fine but the pro version crashes on my s7 edge. Worked once but keeps giving me an unfortunate error occurred message.
Almost perfect. I use this in my studio as THE clock running on a tablet on the wall. I use a mini mixer to distribute the signal to all my cameras and to the audio recorder. My only criticism is that it would be great if you added scalable fonts so the clock could expand to fit the display on a tablet.
Used the free version. Three aja ki pros perfect all day. Purchased for ability to set time. Some of my clients prefer it instead of real time!! Yes you need to leave the app running for accuracy so just put it on an android other than your main device! Top marks.
Nice app to have in your pocket, would be good if it kept running in the background instead of resetting when screen closes, tested and works on pmw 350 and pmw 400. good for the price.

Used it for some animation work. Love that I can set the start times.
They should not be charging this much for such a poor app. The timer stops working when you change screens, so if you are on set you absolutely cannot multitask. I've just seen so many better apple apps for timecodes that I thought I'd buy this one and it'd be everything I needed- it just needs so much more work before it's even worth $2 let alone $7.50. Go search elsewhere for something better. I'll update if it ever becomes worth it.
This is a great app, I only wish it had two features: 1) A way to rotate it into portrait and "upside down" landscape, it sucks when you need the connector on the right but the UI won't rotate that way. 2) a way to specify a loop point. where I could start start a 00:59:55:00 and end at 1:10:00:00 Other than those two things I it's been a must for me on my phone and tablet.
Works a treat. It would be good to not have the time code stop when using another app.
A great tool for sound mixers to have. I use this with my Sound Devices 664 mixer/recorder and it works perfectly to restart TC to the recorder. Then I sync my lock-it boxes from the recorder and lock down TC to the cameras. And the display is big enough to show to GoPros and allow the editors to sync TC for those scenes where critical sound is recorded to the 664 and video to the GoPros in the car. Works great and editors love it! Makes me a hit with the production company!
Can jam a Denecke TS-C (mono 1/4" plug) and Zaxcom TRX900 w/ STA adapter (mono 1/8" plug) just fine. Deducting a star until we get the ability to auto populate the user bits with the date. Also need to fix a bug where user bits are reversed when loaded into a Denecke slate. You have to manually enter info reading right to left in the app in order to get the slate to print UBs left to right.
Great little app, does what it says for a reasonable price. Would love to see the option to have the app run in the background and still keep time. I understand that this might be battery intensive but a check box in the settings would be great. Right now it appears that even if you just turn off the display the code stops running. Hope you come out with a jam-able TC slate app as well!
Very useful app for work. Would it be hard to add a jam sync feature making it possible to jam from another android running this app over jack to jack audio cable? That way I could have more than one device synced? Or how about a wifi or bluetooth sync between devices on same bluetooth or wifi network so multiple androids can continuously run in sync or at least resink as and when in range of same network? Or as already said, time from Gps so multiple androids are in sync.
Totally useful! Just what I needed. A pause feature would be helpful for some of my AV uses. Really glad I found it, T/C in your pocket!

Great app if you need a portable TC generator.
It took a few minutes to figure out. 1) create stereo mini to BNC (I used a stereo mini - stereo RCA Y type adapter). Use the red side only and make sure the white isn't touching any metal. Connect contraption to LTC in on the AJA and to the headphone jack on the phone. 2) go through AJA menus and set TC in to LTC. 3) Tap RUN on the app, then start record. VOILA! In my case, I had three KiPros daisy chained and it synced all three. There might be a slight frame count difference though, but I will have to check for that in post. Either way, VERY useful when recording live corporate events. Now, we need this for PC/MAC :-) Thanks! DWN2DV8 The AV Guys, Orlando

Incredible app... Combine this with a GPS or atomic clock time server on your rooted phone and your timecode can be consistently frame accurate for the entire day.
One of the most useful apps I have. GPS time synch would make it even better.
I used this with a time code slate on a shoot. Worked every time. The addition of user bits is terrific, haven't had a chance to test that yet. Thanks! Is there any way for the app to use the time from gps satellites for super accuracy?

The 29.97NDF or just 29.97 don't work on my Zoom F4. All the others seem to jam sync perfectly. The time only flickers on the screen, because it is out of sync. Please fix
