Douro DOC

Douro DOC - Este cartaz pretende conjugar a beleza natural do Douro com a sua história. O título “Douro DOC” remete para o facto do Alto Douro ser a primeira região vinícola demarcada e regulada do mundo criada em 1756 por Marques de Pombal. A foto, tirada na zona de Pinhão, considerada o centro da região demarcada do Douro, apresenta uma paisagem composta por vários elementos característicos da zona: uma quinta na encosta, a vinha plantada nos socalcos e o rio Douro indissociável desta região.

Douro DOC - This poster intends to combine the natural beauty of the Douro with its history. The title "Douro DOC" refers to the fact that the Alto Douro wine region is the first demarcated and regulated in the world created in 1756 by Marques de Pombal. The photo, taken in the pinion area, considered the center of the Douro region, presents a landscape composed of several elements characteristic of the area: a farm on the hillside, the vines planted on the terraces and the river Douro inseparable from this region.
