Everyone I have deleted something, I open a new email and when I close it after reading, the deleted items are back in the inbox. It looks like a glitch.

Using android 4.1.1 , whenever i update this app , and after restarting my phone , it stuck on logo and i ultimately have to factory reset my phone.. it only happens when i update this app...! Developers , please solve it...!

This app would be so much better if you could have a select all option for deleting emails instead of having to tap on them individually.

The latest update seems to a bit buggy. It is taking too long to load the threads in a single mail. Most of the time the screen goes almost blank when we tap on any particular conversation in a thread

Not basic enough. The funny thing is that you'll never read this or ever give a DAMN about what I say so whatever.

Gmail has been with me from day one (that was. so long ago) And is Still with me, Now ~ You keep my messages, Yes, very organized and Safe!

Send a mail with an attachment and it stucks in the outbox indefinitely. After update auto sync stopped working. Tried every troubleshooting steps. None worked. Pathetic app.

No option to set default view folder as "all mails" and no delete button in email notification.

I have sent feedback numerous times about the lack of proper integration between Gmail and G+, especially this nonsense of launching a pseudo G+ when clicking on posts people have commented on.

Notifcations are late for new email arrivals and one big problem I am able to send emails with no attachments but the ones with attachments they keep standing in the outbox having status as queued and never gets sent. Please fix the issue as soon as possible.

After the latest update, I don't receive new mail notifications anymore... This app is going downward spiral

I keep deleting emails only for them to pop back into my inbox - multiple times! Please fix ASAP!

Frequent Iockups and freezes. Still have to delete emails 2 or 3 times before they stay deleted. Can't believe we are still selecting messages one by one to delete, move, etc. Come on Google, design your apps for this century. Exchange services needs more options like delete from device but leave on server. No way to tell which account inbox you're in. Color coded accounts would help. Can't set a default account when you have more than 1 account. Emailing from other apps you have no idea which account it's going to use. Having both a Priority Inbox and Inbox is just plain stupid. It's hit or miss which one emails show up in.

Please keep Gmail simple... All you need is inbox, sent box, junk, trash, and drafts... And keep the email simple just one email one page! Don't keep Burrying emails underneath each other it makes it so complicated you can't find them. Remember the kiss method... Keep it simple stupid... with all due respect thank you

Pretty good for an email address and messaging. Hangouts system is working perfect with it too. Also performance looks clean and soft with high security and fully customizable. But virus detector is annoying. It sometimes detects small and useless files as virus but it's still okay however other thing are built really good. Thanks to Google team.

WILL NOT SEND AN EMAIL WITH ANY TYPE OF ATTACHMENT (pic, document, etc). STUCK in QUEUE or OUTBOX endlessly. Clearing Cache and Data Does Not help (But it will remove the stuck emails from your Queue or Outbox). Updating Gmail and Google + Does Not help. Uninstalling Updates does not help. USELESS GARBAGE ON MANY DIFFERENT PHONES. It used to work ok but has had the above issue for weeks now. Plenty of free space on my phone, this app is just useless frustration garbage. Millions of users are having the same problem, I researched and tried every fix I could find, none of them work. GMAIL IS USELESS GARBAGE ON MANY DIFFERENT PHONES. Uninstalling and going to try another email. The one that starts with Y is said to be very good.

I use Gmail as my daily driver for my email accounts. Although I get annoyed by the mass junk mail that is sent. The app ui is very simple and easy to navigate through. Even someone who lacks in technology can use this app. Google keeps making the app better the more it is updated. Especially with smart reply, which makes replying to an email as easy as replying to a text message.

Certainly not the greatest by far. I just had to drink the kool-aid like everyone else. Anyway, what is today's update talking about? "Save time with Smart Reply: Tap one of the three options to start your response - hit send when done". What?

There are a few problems they can't seem to correct or contacted me. You can't go back and fix a misspelled word without losing entire text. You try to write correctly using people's name and the change it, even after proof reading.

Recently lost the clip tray. Still have it on other aps. Just not Gmail. I've clip tray extensively. Please fix Please give us an unread tab so that we can quickly find unread emails. Everything else is great thank you

For a long, long time it was above the rest but now other vendors have caught up and to some degree overtaken Gmail's intuitiveness. In fact, I've often chosen to use the web version of Gmail over the app. The app often has synchronisation issues and during such an issue it guzzles battery life, and this you don't realise until you next use/check your phone. I'm thinking of dropping this app for Outlook

Lacks basic functionality: 1. It cannot copy and paste email names between the To, Cc and Bcc fields. 2. It cannot "Reply all": the "Reply all" button only replies to the sender and it demotes all others to the Cc field. Hoplessly inadequate. Very poor.

It's Gmail so I'm sure nobody really needs to read a review before deciding to use it or not. What I am going to say though is that I really don't like the smart replies. Maybe it's just me but I find it a bit cold. Maybe great for some but can it be an optional setting please. I know I don't have to click on it but I don't even want to see it there, it's a distraction.

Latest update refuses to let me open pdf docs on mobile. Apparently they're either corrupt or damaged, or can't be fetched at all and get stuck on 0%. Funny how Outlook doesn't have the same issues. FIX IT!!

1) Couldn't find the option of creating a new label for a mail, netting it under a folder in the app unlike the desktop version. 2) The signature under the mails don't show up in the app.

Deleted emails constantly coming back, impossible to sort my emails because I get every email 4,5,6 Or 7 times! Also have to get rid of the same notifications repeatedly for the same emails! Absolute nightmare!

This Inbox and All mail thing needs to be sorted. Inbox does not show all emails and constantly have to click all mail to view latest emails. Come on google at least give us option to choose All Mail as default!

Its a good app but from some time i am facing aome glitch. Its like i am seeing the mail from the sender but when i open it i can only see one mail that i typed. But when i open it in any browser like opera i can see the sender's email too​. Please solve this issue.

LOVED IT BUT I WANT SEE MARK ALL OPETION IN GMAIL INSTEAD OF MARKING MAIL ONE BY ONE TO DELETE. PLEASE ADD THIS OPETION IN NEXT UPDATE. THANK YOU

Gmail is not bad but they still haven't figured out simplest things in thier app. Like "emptying folder" by one click not like me right now I had to hand select 500 emails I want to delete. It very annoying. Hotmail/Outloook on the other hand has that option.

I can never read the latest email in a chain of emails. I can see I have one, but it won't show when clicked n. Sometimes it shows when someone else gets in touch in response and sometimes it takes days to show, after which it is often too late. Absolutely frustrating!

Can't delete messages from yahoo inbox, they just keep reappearing again and again. Gmail doesn't show new mails unless I OPEN the app and REFRESH it. Screen keeps jumping to the cursor. If you need to scroll down it's really inconvenient.

Couldn't find a way to customize Smart Replies and add priority to emails? I find MS Outlook app interface more user-friendly and easy to use.

M not able to recover my password.. it's been so long m asking for help BT no reply is there though they are telling they vl contact in a few days BT no help is being provided ... Really not happy

Inefficient, slow, unstable, notifications are all wrong, exchange support needs some serious work. Most of the issues are from Marshmallow days. I am really surprised that the development team have allowed these issues to be carried forward to Nougat. iOS is a pioneer in exchange support. Period.

Not able to attach a .pdf file..tried several times. Such a pathetic application, can't even save attachment in drafts. unbelievable from Google.

I don't get a notification!!!! I have missed time sensitive emails. Fix this and I will give a good rating. This is the only issue I'm having and its been 2 weeks of this!

I downloaded the gmail app but it does not show up with my other apps in my homescreen. I have A SAMSUNG ANDROID TABLET, PLS HELP

Sepertinya Gmail rada error ya. Beberapa email masuk tidak terbaca sehingga saya harus menginstall aplikasi email lainnya untuk membuka.

Notifications are all jacked up since Android M. If you get x amount of emails on one account, then delete x amount. You get constant notifications for each deleted one, until they are all gone.
