MOTU - Mobile Trans. Utility

Mobile Transaction Utility (MOTU) is an android based SMS app that helps the user to use the SMS short code services provided by various business entities like banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, airlines, railways etc. Users need not remember the keywords, formats of the messages and the mobile numbers of the entities. This app will be useful for transactions like SMS banking.

MOTU allows end users to configure any number of business entities of their interest and use them to pull the required information through SMS.

This app helps users in creating the required SMS message and send the SMS on user behalf and does not store any of user data on any server. It uses internet to download the entity specific metadata. Some business entities require registration of mobile number with them before using SMS short code services and also in some cases, the telecom services provider may charge extra cost for the SMS message.
