Motion Sensor Midi Controller

Play a MIDI instrument by sending it motion data from your device's sensor - tilt up to ascend, and down to descend.

In this version all notes are in the Makam Hijaz scale. I will add more scales if the app catches...

INSTRUCTIONS

This is how it should work, step by step:

1. On a desktop computer, enter this website ON CHROME ONLY - http://ilyichgames.com/midi

2. Choose the device you want to pass MIDI information to, the device should be connected to the computer, taking MIDI from it (output), and passing it to a MIDI instrument (input).

3. Enter the app on your mobile device.
In the bottom line it should read "Midi sent, follow the instructions above."

4. If this is the case, all you have to do now is tilt your device up and down.
The motion sensor will read the data, pass it to the server (providing you are connected to the internet), the website running on a desktop computer will pull the data, translate it into a MIDI note, and send it to the instrument using the webmidi API.
