Dee Browser

Finally a adblock browser that actually BLOCKS ADS. Get this one if you want a browser that doesn't say it blocks ads then shows it's own ads like a sellout.

One annoying issue, when you're on a site and your click the address bar to search something new, it highlights the whole address as it should but when you start typing it adds what is typed in front of the current address

Was alerted by an anti-virus app that this browser is spyware. Uninstalled. Update 9/12/17: an email asking for clarification has gone unanswered.

Only thing it's really missing is disabling the ad block temporarily. Otherwise it's an excellent browser.

Amazingly fast AND feature rich! Two wishes: 1) Allow bookmarks to be rearranged, and 2) Have the night mode toggle immediately available in the right sidebar

Add ability to organize bookmarks as needed when its set as default opening page. Folders would also be a nice feature when you have multiple links on same subject.

I finally found a browser that met my needs in aggressively blocks ads and plays flash videos and embedded Twitter videos on my phone. The only issue, minor really, is that some websites are blocked in their entirety. The Daily Beast is one such site. Wondering if the developers can tweak the AdBlock features to prevent full page blocking without weakening them. A major issue is that it constantly crashes on my tablet making unusable. Deleted it. Update (11/18/2016): I still stand by the original review. Certain web pages are still blocked in their entirety. One more issue, there appears no settings option to select "Request Desktop Site." If there is, would love to know how to call desktop sites. (3/21/2016): DeeBrowser still working well but some pages continue to be blocked completely or adblocked (LA Times) requesting their page be white listed. However, it appears that DB doesn't have a feature to white list pages so the adblocking features are turned off from manually selected websites.

Great browser, but translate tool stuck on Finnish and STILL unable to change default download location to external MicroSD card - even with storage permissions enabled for Dee. Same problem on 2 phones, Android 6 & 7.

This browser is very good, it would be perfect if you added a lock portrait button in the youtube player. Also a home button in the tabs drawer.

Hands down, the *best* browser for *me.* Dee's ad blocker works great…only rarely do ads sneak through. Fast & reliable browser & FREE. Thanks so, so much! Keep up the great work! ????

Kept losing all my tabs whenever I exited and reopened the app, infuriating.

Love the app, but can't change the download directory to the SD card. The solution you provide doesn't work.

Nice browser but unable to set download location to external SD card. Tried 3 devices using both Android 6 and 7. Writing permission has been granted to Dee.

Still not able to make it bugless... EDIT now complete and feature proof... HAPPY

Great App. The download location issue was resolved by going to Applications / Permissions / Storage . Enable it.

Not a fan of the character icons. Even alternating colors or same two would've made a better (more even) aesthetc. Everything else done as well as reviews say. History could be a bit easier to navigate and manage though.

I've been using Dolphin since my first smartphone. It always seemed bulky with all the add-ons and whatnots. Never used any - space wasters. Arthritic thumb ached from scrolling past giant ads to read two lines of text & scroll past another & more. Time to stop the madness. Found Dee & gave the fish the boot. Love the Trimmed Reading. Gets rid of formatting for an easy read & u set font size. No ads! No tracking if wanted. Many useful options and it's small & fast. U can stop the madness too. Switch!

Smoothest web browser I've tried so far. Very fast and reliable. One issue I hope they will fix. When you tap on the address bar to input a web address not the entire link is shaded. This means that you have to use backspace to clear the entire address bar and then input the web address you are looking for. This is a bit frustrating. Hopefully they will fix.

The simplistic black theme you can set for the browser also applies to 'trimmed reading' (aka reader/ing mode) which means we get a nice 'night mode' when we want it (and it's always wanted when reading at night....)

It was perfect, but lately started showing too many annoying popups warning about security certificates. If nothing changes will consider unninstall.

Downgraded rating due to major crash everytime when calls came in when in midst of watching streaming dramas. The screen went blackout, can't even press any keys,answer or reject the incoming calls & neither able to see the number that called in & the phone kept ringing throughout until the caller end the call & it went auto restart mode or alternative way is force myself by unplugging the battery to restart. I'm using a Samsung Note 2. Dear Admin, pls kindly update your app & routine check regularly (hope my suggestion helps) because it's been quite some time passed without new updates. I really enjoyed using it since start until this problem made such disappointment & fustrated. Hope it will be solve ASAP & will upgrade the rates again.

First thing I did when I realized how well this blocks ads is set it as my default browser. If you use the browser to watch YouTube (instead of the YouTube app) it'll even block most of those ads. I have only 2 suggestions: to be able to organize my bookmarks and be able to delete multiple bookmarks at a time.

I really love your app with true Black background theme. But have some problems why I cannot use it. Fix it and I will donate some money and give 5 stars. Need make more available for Samsung smartphone. 1.Like clipboard not working. 2. not have login to sites use print finger scanner. 3. not have split model (your app not support open 1 more app and working together now 2 windows for Samsung smartphone. Fix this 3 things please.

keep seeing white screens - especially when hitting the back button (advice about Advanced Settings doesn't always fix it - and it's annoying to keep seeing those tabs reappearing) also, since updating phone to Marshmallow, now I CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING!?
