Vobi

A great app. Stopped working 3 days ago. Works only when app is in "open state" . When in minimised state, when someone tries to call you, it gives a "try again later error" . In closed state, it goes to voice mail. Previously, in minimise and close state, it used to work just fine. To use this app, one will require an account, which takes a few seconds to setup.

When it works, it's great. However, the same problem that other users experience crops up a day or so after installation and the app fails to ring when called despite running in the background

The quality of forwarding and receiving calls os putrid. After 4 months Vox has not got it right.

what a piece of garbage. Here is the list of problems. 1. Only works if the app is open 2. Cuts off GSM calls and cannot recover audio after it. 3. randomly decides to call people in my address list (My mother inlaw did not like the comments I made while she was listening in, happens on a daily basis) 4. When you mute the microphone, it cannot be unmuted sometimes. 5. App cannot use NAT traversal to connect 6. Audio quality varies greatly. I will be deleting this app and in future use Vodacom GSM network, no matter how expensive they are, at least everything works.

After jumping through the hoops they want your bank statements/payslips for 3 months just to make use of a R25 subscription, what on earth for. Not to mention the app requires unnecessary permissions. Great example of a big Corporation with an even bigger ego. Here's a radical idea! Put your customers interests first...

Tends to drop calls constantly with errors to use GSM call, which means it wants you to use your own airtime or data and not work off fibre. The call quality is also terrible. Constant bad line, dropped signal, echo or tunnel effect. Very frustrating when you're paying for a premium service!

Was working great but now gives a blank white screen when making a call and can't see the number pad of any other in-call buttons... please fix!

I have 4mb fiber internet through vox, I am using the vobi app but my contacts cannot hear me since the line is so bad. What's the use of this app if people can't hear you clearly?

Proximity sensor does not work, contact search works incorrectly, does not stay connected when I background.

Doesn't work with Nougat and iOs version doesn't work with latest OS either. Better to use Linphone , works perfectly

Icon show's in status bar that the app is active like call recorder.But can't receive calls then,goes to voicemail.have to keep the app open full screen then it works?

Had problems on HR933 but seems to be fixed

Should be able to exit app from any screen not just the keypad. Also the "really exit?" dialog is annoying there should be a way to remember your choice. A big one is that Android OS does not recognize it as a dialer app so you can't change defaults. Also No way to hide contacts that don't have phone numbers which makes the contact list almost unusable for me - full of emails. I hope you guys address these

This app asks for a sign in or scan barcode.Kindly make a way for self registration.

If you install this, it will permanently display "Vobi Vox Telecom - push notifications" on your notification bar. It is extremely annoying and there is no way to get rid of it except to uninstall the app.
