Workfrom for Android
The app is ok, but the nearby feature fits me work making it really annoying to use. I have Google maps telling me exactly where I am, but the ago keeps telling me to turn on location. Do not recommend this version.... Maybe in the future when they fix it.
Site is great but the app is so slow it's dysfunctional. Photos that show in preview won't load, can't update my profile because it won't load, same with account and most pages. Email verification also doesn't take you to the app and so when you go back in the app it perpetually thinks you haven't verified until you close out the app entirely.
I can just use it, but it is pretty slow. Some screens seem like web pages and even display an overlayed advert. These can't be dismissed easily since they are not formatted correctly for the screen space. There is not much information available, and you might be better off with Google maps or open street maps. Overall not very impressed.
The splash screen when you open it is pretty useless. It feels like it should show me places near me or just a map when I open it. Also, the app doesn't support the Android back button, which makes it very cumbersome for me to use since hitting that button to go from looking at details about a place to a list of places is burned into my muscle memory.
Adding pictures is impossible via this app. This functionality appears better suited for the browser (on a computer) v. the mobile app. Further the message icon appears right on top of some other feature icon. Finally, it isn't all that intuitive as far as social apps go.
The concept is great. The android app not so much. Editing a place is a pain, especially adding photos. It either doesn't work, or is extremely slow. I'll probably bump the rating up if performance gets better... Hire a freelancer :-)
Looking more polished, but I still can't log in without a password. Can you put more priority on knocking that out?
Great concept. Very bad app. It crashes when you try and open the map - the main feature...
Conceptually this app is great, practically this app is great, but the ui is a bit janky still. But got damn, I can't wait till it improves.
A bit buggie sometimes but an absolute lifesaver for remote workers like myself. Thank you!
I travel all the time, great app to find places to sit and work
Love this app. A must if you are a remote worker!
App needs a better implementation. Website is way better and faster
Great app! Works well and very useful!
Poor App
Workfrom is my reference app when I'm running errands, trying to find a new shop to try, or in an unfamiliar city.
I work remotely while traveling the world and love using this to find new places to plug into for the day!
Great and easy to use very helpful
Not very polished, if you'd add some animations it would look way smoother
I used this on a road trip and was surprised to find some super cute places where I could handle a few meetings. Loved hitting "browse nearby" and being able to use that to plan my rest stops. Didn't take me long at all to get setup at the coffee shops - as I could see the password and get connected to test the connection before committing to coffee.
Super easy to use and helps me find a place to work quickly. I like that it has the password for places (as I often forget to ask and have to awkwardly go up to the counter again). Looking forward to more features coming soon.
I can mostly find what I'm looking for, but the app lacks the polish of a well thought out experience. Offering a "get a password" button when that functionality isn't available yet is an example of where a feature flag is needed. Map view opens to the wrong location. Some buttons don't work with the keyboard open. Et cetera. Looking forward to the next release, but these are issues an initial launch shouldn't have.
Will be handy to have on the cellphone, because it's what I use to manage stores while travelling.

I really like WorkFrom but the mobile site is way faster. I'm using a Pixel with this app and file picker is broken, nearby locations won't load, and the Back button doesn't actually go back to what I was doing before. For the wishlist: it'd be really nice to edit your own comments so you can highlight things as they change over time.
