draining my battery awesomely

Talk about downgrading a once great app. So I reinstalled this and tried to restore my previous progress but it didn't work. I now discover the lock screen option (which had been free for a long time) is now a trial and I've exceeded the trial. It wouldn't be so bad if I was a new user discovering this requirement but it's extremely poor form to impose this on your existing registered users. This is reflected in this rating. Embarrasing move.

Only reason I wanted this app is to quiz me on hiragana on my lockscreen. Now you've made this no longer free (trial is NOT making it free - it's a trick to get me used to something and then make me pay!) So this app is useless now and there also isn't another that does what I want so you've ruined a great learning tool

This app won't download anything. The screen opens but when I try to download packs to start the app, it just says something went wrong. I uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing.

The lock screen add on used to work fine on my Xiaomi but had stopped working on my Lenovo P2. Without the lock screen, the app defeats it's purpose. Any help on this?

I'm sorry guys but 40 bucks for the lockscreen is a bit steep, and not to mention that I'd have to pay that every, single, year. There's a limit and you crossed it.

Overall, the app is nice. VERY USEFUL! However, the lock screen start up doesn't work on my phone... PLEASE FIX

Used to be really good when they had the lock screen for free now you have to pay for everything except for one thing.

My account couldn't connect with MY CREATOR on the website to download my pack.

Videos keep showing up when you study. It's hard to concentrate on studying Turkish verbs when you know a video of a chicken farm is coming up any time soon.

But it could've been better IF you separate the class type. Sometimes my finger couldn't touch the audio button and tapped the hide/show translation in flashcards instead. Please consider to make the update.

The loading of each section is VERY slow, and every download I try fails. Nexus 6P, Android 7.1.1

I use it to learn Japanese, but when I try to press the sound button, nothing comes out, even when my media volume is all the way up? Please fix, I really need to hear the pronunciations.

I sometimes find the navigation confusing, and another thing that kind of annoys me a little is that Semper kept showing up in my notification feed prompting me to keep lock screen notification even after countless of times I pressed keep!

Does exactly what it says! I like being able to set goals, and get through learning vocab without having to sit down in a study session on those days I'm too busy.

But! longer definitions are often only partially displayed and there is no way (that I can find anyway) to see the full definition. Fix for 5 stars!

A lot of previously free features are now pay-only features. For example, I updated the app and I cannot swipe for more questions anymore. There's a padlock and when it's swiped there's a notification to upgrade for this feature. I'm a bit disappointed in this downgrade with each update...otherwise it's a good app, I'm just wondering what else is going to be a paid only feature on the future...

This app is really nice to help memorizing vocabulary! But sometimes when I opened some apps, I got 2 questions in row instead and when I'm still using an app, suddenly I got questioned out of the blue and it's annoying. It would be nice if there is a placement test for people who had known some vocabulary in a lesson but hasn't learned some other vocabulary in that lesson too so we don't have to repeat what we have learned too often.

It's a great concept and also really simple, so you don't have to worry about a time and a place to actually study. Works perfectly for me because I'm always using my phone

Brillant idea and works.

Stays on for a long time after I plug in to charge when I do not want to do a puzzle. Very annoying but it would otherwise be a five star app. Unfortunately this is an app breaking flaw for me. A root option would go towards an extra star or two, or even better a setting that adds a black screen (for us AMOLED users) after a changeable amount of time. +1 for review replies. Reply: No because the only reason I use the app is for the lockscreen puzzles.

I am deeply disappointed with semper unable to load words on lock screen on Redmi note 3. Been using this app for 1 year and now it is annoying. Do something or else I am uninstalling it

Great way to integrate learning into day-to-day life and keep progressing. Obviously slows the phone a bit, which on my older phone can be a bit frustrating.

A screen prompts you to buy semper premium when trying to download a free pack, clicking no thanks brings you back to the download pack page, just going round in circles in the UI making it impossible to actually download it.

Really useful but I just wish there was some way to remove words I know from packs so I can focus on the ones I don't.

I like the lock screen puzzles that really help me to learn new vocab

Semper has a lot a great ideas but still need more option to compete with apps like memrise. For example, I'm using semper to learn Japanese Kanji with puzzle that popped out every time I open an app. That's great but I just see the kanji itself and not the pronounciation of it. I would like to have more options regarding the puzzles. Thanks.

I love this way to learn English. But I have small problem with display. When I create a my pack, it cannot show the full long explanation. Can you adjust this problem for me? Thanks!

Bug that caused nothing to happen after first pack download. Only worked after I closed and downloaded a second pack. Bug that caused the lock screen quiz to loop until closing and opening app again. Sliding to answer is quite annoying, and clicking would be much better. Finding how to study is somewhat difficult and unintuitive (different "practice" and "study" buttons) and you have to scroll down to find your installed packs, when this should be the top priority.

Good way to memorise new words. The last update erased all my progress though, which is the reason I didn't rate 5 stars.

I love learning new languages and Semper makes it easier and more fun than any other language app in Google play store. Thanks for this great learning tool.
