-With smart budgeting tools, B always keeps an eye on your money and will send you alerts when it thinks you need to rein in your spending. You can also set up automatic sweeps between accounts.
-B’s supercharged search makes it easy to check transactions and you can filter and sort them to see exactly what you’ve been spending, from clothes to coffee.
-B aims to surprise you with facts and money saving tips that show exactly where your money goes and how it could go further – like showing you all the things you have bought under a tenner.
-As B learns more about your spending habits, it’ll look ahead and predict how the end of your month might work out and the best way to save money. It can give you plenty of warning if things look tight or if it looks like you’ve got a little extra to spend or save.

What's Changed
This month, we’ve made some BIG changes.
We’ve put in a new Weekly Balance Alert, so you can get regular updates on your balances.
You can now pay a Bill using a new built-in Company search tool. Search, confirm & pay. No more hunting for the bill they sent you three weeks last Tuesday to confirm the details.
And we’ve changed the navigation layout of the Phone app; moving the nav bar to the bottom of the screen, making it easier to use B when you’re out and about.

All in all an app with great potential with two main flaws: 1. That migraine-inducing chicken on a trampoline icon when the app is loading. This is a silly cheap gimmick that does absolutely nothing to help me save money, absolutely nothing and makes me sick. If I am doing ALL by banking on the app, I would rather not see this strobe effect waste of space. Seriously! Keep this in and your app will always be a toy. 2. Lack of Android Pay support Until this is fixed this will be a 1 from me. 3. Cannot go PAPERLESS

I liked the app up untill tonight!! Its too slow showing my correct balance and my statements and now because of this i have spent money i shouldnt have and bearly have a pound in my account!!!!! The old yorkshire bank app never did this. Im furious

Will not save Any added payees. Pain! Re add every time, then shows same payee twice but all disappear when I log back in. Must be there somewhere because show twice when re added . Have to keep using old std mobile banking app. Not impressed

It's ok, but needs a bit of work. Takes a while to load, then asks for a password, then loads some more. Would be awesome if it integrated fingerprint authentication so I didn't have to type my 6 digit password every time (I'm pretty lazy). Also the "create a budget" feature seems broken. It often doesn't open when clicked, and when it does you start creating your budget then the whole form resets discarding all that you've done. I've tried 5 times now and still haven't been able to create one!

Love the app, it's really helping me keep track of my spending. Hate the chicken with a passion though!

Terrible app can't save payee, won't let me set saving pots. Really frustrating. Really can't believe all the money they make out of you and they cant afford to get a app right. I am looking at leaving. Other banks seem to get it right, not many but a few!!

Great app. Gets easier to navigate with practice. Loads of features which offer something for everyone. Let's not forget the app comes off the back of an interest paying account

User friendly interface and great features

App is very slow compared to other banking apps. The help function does not work at all. In general the app isnt very user friendly and can be difficult to navigate to make a simple balance transfer to a savings account or set up a standing order. Needs work to increase speed and be made user friendly.

Looks stable and has not crashed on me yet. No option to send PAYM mobile payments that i can see. Will keep my yorkshire bank app till B has this option

App hasn't worked properly since before Christmas. Fed up phoning hotline and going into branch to try to get it sorted. Been promised calls back 4/5 times but it never happens.

It's a pretty decent app when it works, love spending to squeeze a extra few pounds out of my monthly spend. Was going to review lower as I wasn't able to log in found out an app called Twilight messing with my screen. Turned it off and can login at night again.

Its good when in it.. but getting in is a hassle.. soo frustating you just get tierd of tryin agen and agen. My yorkshire bank app was soo much better in efficiency and speed only came to this as it had more to offer. Most of the times i tey to log in its pops up with a dialogue bkx say error id. thinking of goin back to basics.

Spent an hour in bank today setting up account. Downloaded app to my phone this evening. Entered my codes etc but app wont accept pass. What a disaster.

N70%
by N####:

I haven't long since been using this app . It is great once it works but at the moment it won't let me enter my pass code or press anything on the app. I am a bit disappointed as I can't check any money going in and out or transfer any into my account that the money Is going into to pay my direct debits and standing orders

U70%
by U####:

I didn't think it was possible to make an even more rubbish banking app than the standard YB one, but they have done it. Transfers doesn't work, tagging payment needs to be done 3 or 4 times before it works. This is another pile of steaming dog sh*t!

Q70%
by Q####:

Awful. It shows different balances, both higher and lower from day to day without any transactions taking place. Absolutely no use for keeping track of your money

Q70%
by Q####:

Unfortunately it's ruined. The b app was better the old way. It's been made more complicated to use. Will be contacting the bank tomorrow.

Q70%
by Q####:

Finger print login would make it just right for me.

Q70%

Good app. Although it won't save my payees. Also is Yorkshire bank going to support Android pay any time soon?

Works great

Works fine for me on Nexus 5X, way better than the Clydesdale Bank app. Would like to see android pay added to B in the not too distant future.

G70%
by G####:

Need laid out better . More focus on user ability instead of bright kiddie colours and lost within its own funkiness Can't believe I'm considering changing banks so I can get a more professional app

Q70%
by Q####:

No Paym support; Can't send money using phone numbers. Can't edit references to saved payees. Other than that, it's good at displaying where your money goes.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great app. Works everytime i need it. And with the planned addition of Android pay integration in the near future it will only get better.

Q70%
by Q####:

Absolute garbage as an app.its like going from a modern PC back to a zx spectrum in terms of performance. Transferring money is a joke and it keeps asking for an Internet banking password that I don't have and have never had.

Q70%
by Q####:

Seems ok but I was guaranteed payee list would be migrated and it hasn't been adding them doesn't save even when choosing to save which is infuriating as it's something I use regularly. Budget doesn't work clicking does nothing.

J70%
by J####:

New user and upto now seems great. I like the fact you can set up a savings account through it and transfer money into a savings pot anymore tips for further use would be great

Z70%
by Z####:

Because this one isn't reliable. Transactions are slow (always ready to view on old app). Often it won't even let my enter password (pressing keys does nothing) and then hours later it magically works. Crashes often. Such a shame. Using a Nexus tablet and an LG g4 phone. SORT IT OUT
