Totally useless app. The frame size is way to big. Tried five times in a well lit room. Did not work. Sat down in my living room with partial lighting and it worked but trying to adjust the frame's and arms was a total waste of time. When I finally finished and selected frames they looked like they were for a giant. Totally worthless. Looks like it's a trip to the high street. Taking a wide berth of SPECSAVERS.

Biggest load of rubbish. 4 times I installed it and uninstalled it on 2 different devices. Followed instructions exactly. Clicked on, 'try these on' wouldn't work, another time I clicked on the glasses to try, picture appeared with a different pair of glasses. Complete waste of time. Just easier to go into the shop and try. Have now uninstalled on both devices. Won't be trying it again.

by A####:

App was easy to use. Having tried some glasses on in store today, I'm not convinced that the proportions of the glasses on screen are correct. It definitely helped me narrow down my search so I knew which frames suited me but I would like to try frames in store before I buy

S70%
by S####:

I couldn't get a scan that was any good... The scan would lag so I would only get 2 angles of my face, nothing like the example shows. And if the scan did somehow miraculously work, the glasses would not sit on my face right. It's a good concept, but they seriously need to fix it.

S70%
by S####:

Not to bad for starters but photo scan very awkward to use. When done glasses don't quite fit, why is there no search facility for searching the app for a pair of glasses say by number or name??

D70%
by D####:

It's a good way to get an idea of which style might suit you and/or which you like the look of. I've narrowed down to 5 pairs I like but will be checking them out on store as proportions didn't look quite right.

Thought this was a great idea until i tried it. I took my glasses off to scan my face and couldn't see what i was supposed to do. (Clearly need my glasses to see!!!) This is an app for people who wear glasses. Clearly wasnt thought through. Haha.

As title suggests. Took ages picking my favourites fir them all to be changed the next time I open the app. Plus the "mock up" of me was hilarious - glasses squint on my face - looked drunk !

S70%
by S####:

Clumsy app with limited results compared to website. Doing the same search on the app and the website yielded 7 and 197 results respectively, quite a difference!

S70%
by S####:

Really good to preview frames. I'd a little problem with following the instructions but got there 3rd time. I'm unable to vìsit the shop just now so this app is ideal for selecting frames to try rather than trawling through everything offered in store. Great!

S70%
by S####:

impossible to get a scan, no matter what i tried. the app does not like my face. also i cannot understand why this simple app needs all these permissions .. microphone? location?

S70%
by S####:

Black screen, face does not load when selecting glasses only on setting the app up?? Fix would give 5stars...running note 4.

E70%
by E####:

Every time I open the app there seems to be different glasses favourite than what I actually favourited? I have to keep going back and finding the original ones which, without a proper search feature, is quite hard to do.

C70%
by C####:

App is almost unusable. I made one profile, but it didn't work right. I tried to delete it, but the only way to delete profiles is to delete and reinstall the app. I instead made a second profile, which worked better, but I am totally unable to switch to it.

Called at my local branch today and selected two frames that I liked. Tried to compare them on the app' but the frames are not listed! There is no search facility - It would help if one could search by frame name. Shame, as taking the photo for my profile was simple, and results on other frames was quite decent.

M70%
by M####:

A great idea that needs a little more refining. BUT that said its the best app ive seen todate for this kinda thing.. Some designs dont really fit well so its hard to get a true perspective.. Maybe give us an option not to go through the tutorial every time we add a new profile. ALSO what about something that suggests a frame style that fits a particular face shape? I might come back when theres an decent update...

S70%
by S####:

Capturing image is hit and miss, mostly miss. Profile??? takes ages to load if ever, and trying on frames simply does not work.

S70%
by S####:

Ok, its not brilliant but it does the job. I tried about 6 other apps and they were far worse. I couldn't get it to run properly on my Google Pixel C tablet running Nougat but it works ok on my Nexus 6P running Nougat. Lots of choices of glasses so you get a good idea of what style suits you.

N70%
by N####:

Did both before I even managed to look at one pair of glasses. On Experia M2

S70%
by S####:

I don't have a face for any glasses. So I tend to ask people that I don't know which they may like on me. But when friends and family see me with my old glasses they laugh at my choice. So this helped me think.

Z70%
by Z####:

Profile was OK to scan. Tried several pairs of specs and then it wouldn't do anymore. Took forever and I got fed up waiting. Good app if it worked properly.

S70%
by S####:

I thought it was brilliant for what it is, slightly gimmicky but ultimately useful and also fun. My expectations were low (having tried the software in the shop) so the app on my phone exceeded them. Cool.

S70%
by S####:

This "app" is complete rubbish and a waste of time, it doesn't track you're face properly and the glasses end up not in the correct position, they stick out too far infront of you're face, the arms don't go behind your ears etc. The time I've wasted on this app I literally could've been in branch and tried every pair on the have, the demo and instructions make this look ground breaking but the reality is I could do better on my own. Don't waste you're time like I and so many others have.

S70%
by S####:

Could not recognise face. Asking to look both ways wont just accept a pic. Purchased glasses from a different company.

S70%
by S####:

Not a great app, but gives you an idea of what frame will look like on your face. Well done Specsavers for trying, but keep making improvements please!

S70%
by S####:

Gives me USA prices, says there are no stores near to me which is wrong. Hard to use

S70%
by S####:

A little clunky but a good idea. But it only let's you save 6 or 7 designs and then won't load anymore on your photo....also you can't unsaved frames.

S70%
by S####:

No problems installing on my Samsung Galaxy and is clear and easy to use. Just a shame I look so gawky in pics lol

S70%
by S####:

Needs work

S70%
by S####:

One complete profile - some success upon first use but then a buggy, crashing, slow loading app. Tried on Galaxy S4 and S5 two different profiles but same issues.

S70%
by S####:

If this app wasn't so bad it would be hilarious! One of the first instructions is to make sure you remove your glasses. THEN the rest of the instructions need to be read on screen! Specsavers, please! If I could read at that point I wouldn't need the glasses !! Scrap this app and start again.

S70%
by S####:

Works quite well, but the scanning part doesn't work fully and frames don't line up correctly with face. Uninstalled it as this app wanted to access my phones microphone which is NOT required for anything other than spying on users.

G70%
by G####:

I have only just downloaded it and already not liking it as it is rather difficult to take an accurate scan which can then display the glasses properly on the face.

S70%
by S####:

Took 5 attempts to record a suitable clip. When you try the frames on digitally they look absolutely atrocious.

S70%
by S####:

It is surely good to see yourself with the glasses. Really helpful.

S70%
by S####:

When I finally got it to accept my face scan, it just showed a pair of floating glasses without my face.

Z70%
by Z####:

I've never had glasses before so this app has made me look at them a different way and I now can't wait to go to store and choose a pair for real

S70%
by S####:

Difficult to get started as a picture didn't want to load, glasses are not proportional to real impression, favourite didn't load when I was in the shop and when in the end I managed to view them, it wasn't what I saved!

S70%
by S####:

Good idea but all the glasses come out all pixelated once superimposed on your picture so gives you absolutely no idea of how the glasses actually look on your face .

K70%
by K####:

Back to the drawing board Specsavers. Think your app designers need your service. Several attempts at scanning. Arm of frame on one side is only half the length. I wouldn't be seen dead in the majority of frames it suggested
