Osprey PackSizer™

I'm 6'6" and barely fit a large, it thought i needed a medium. Instead of this app why not just post instructions how to measure one's self with a tape measure? I can't see how any photo could be accurate enough when an inch difference matters greatly.

Give us a simple size chart instead of trying to justify the money you've spent on developing this long winded and over complicated app that isn't very accurate anyway

Like previously stated, undersize suggestions. Wasted allot of time on this app. Found size guide on another website (not Osprey's)

App doesn't work. Like others have reported it sizes small. I'm 6'3" and it recommended a talon 33 size s/m. The large doesn't even fit me!

Worked well without any crashes as others have complained of. Correctly, as i suspected, identified me as a medium for most packs.

How am I meant to use this by myself; can't I just have the measurements for your packs like normal? This app. is actually stopping me buying your equipment, it's awful!

I am a huge fan of Osprey packs having had 2 previously - I am interested in one of the new running packs and wanted to make sure it was the correct fit. Found it strange/frustrating I had to download an app to do so. Then found the app doesnt even work. Crashes as soon as I take a picture. Pointless, useless app. Whats wrong with a sizing chart? Please Osprey, get rid.

Trying to be too cleaver. I just want to know what size bag i need. Please get rid of this awful app and give us a size chart.

The videos wouldn't play. I couldn't adjust the scale of the height measurements on the photo, therefore I could not accurately input the data required to predict my pack size.

That's an hour of my life lost. If the app is this bad are the bags really all that? Really, Osprey what's the point of this app.

As in title plus when you get down to it this is just a marketing exercise.

It worked as described for me. If the pack size is really correct is another story...

After crashing several times I managed to get further but couldn't set my height and such.

Nice to look at, pretty useless. Would rather they jsut let me measure my own back length and just enter it on the website.

So slow then just crashes each time you get to the last step.

Worked well for me. Pack arrived today and fits like a glove.

I'm 6'4" tall and need a small... Really, chap with measuring kit in shop agreed not! But we tried app again and it still came up small. Rubbish.

Why, oh why...

Like others the app did not work for me. After 2 hours of trying to get this thing to work, Inbetween the inability to move the sliders to select the height to then finding out that at a pretty average sort of height 1.81m they have no packs that are my size. Guys this is an epic fail as a marketing tool and if you want to lose customers then please feel free to keep using the app. If however you do want customers to buy from you either fix the app, supply an alternative method of measuring or preferably both. Oh and by the way, the email you state on the website to report app problems is not working either!

It fails after taking the photo. Displays a white screen only. 1,2,3 uninstall

It emailed me pretty much their entire stock list. The best help I got chossing was from my local dealer who helped me with adjustments and test weights to simulate a typical load out. WAY better!

after taking picture - it cannot be scaled. Simply app does not work.

No photo was good enough for this useless app.

I've needed to take 3 pictures to get one that I could use the measurement tool. The app stopped responding 2 times. It gave me wrong size after all! Why cant we use old fashion size tables?

Total rubbish - didn't even email my results. plus Osprey don't now show any other way of sizing on there website which is crazy. Finally got it to work I followed the instructions exactly and it told me i needed small which is ridiculous about as wrong as it could be!!

Went through the steps successfully but the app said "cannot size you, try again?"

Waste of time, app does not work on my phone. Hope the packs are better

Why not just tell people how to measure rather than creating an app. Are we all too stupid to use a measuring tape? No other indication of how to measure on website. Ridiculous.

Slow. Had to take the picture several times as the app crashed. Step two would show the picture upside down.never got to the end.

Kept locking up at different points in the process, quicker just to use a tape measure.

The app is very nice and useful, but there is no backpacking category for women, so you can only check smaller backpacks /rucksacks. It would be also good to be able to use a photo saved already on the phone. The ruler works kind of laggy, not sure if that's its problem or my phone's.

I can't get the app to function I even deleted several apps to free up memory to no avail

Does not work

Picture goes upside down, so had to hold the phone upside down, shoot, and turn it around again. Sliding the ruler doesn't work. So there it stops. :(
