Boot Out Breast Cancer

Boot Out Breast Cancer is a charity set up by Debbie Dowie in 2010. Debbie was diagnosed with breast cancer and was very fortunate to receive an early diagnosis with a positive prognosis. Debbie however, knew that for some this was not always the case. With this mind, she spent numerous occasions with her surgeon discussing the needs of fellow patients and was alerted to how severe the desperation for the diagnostic equipment was. Debbie wanted turn her experience with breast cancer into a positive one and Boot Out Breast Cancer was born.
Now with a team of 10 friends and they are all determined to make a difference. Each is committed to fundraising and to making sure that every penny raised is spent on some much needed equipment in the NHS. Their aim is to provide equipment for as many breast cancer units in the North West as possible.
