Been going thru comments and playing with app. It for metal work for making the metal steps and rails. This isn't one for carpenters or wood craftsman? Eve you're insulting on your comments. Explain your app better. PS 5 years carpenter 15 years as master carpenter 2 years craftman

Worked out all the spindle gaps for my new staircase perfectly. Some instructions would help, but played around with app until I got the hang of it and found it invaluable.

Doesn't allow you to choose length and get tread size.

Excellent calculator tool, can put it to several good uses. I fabricate steel and aluminium handrails for a job and this tool has exceeded my expectations. Some more balustrading profiles would be great (friendly feedback).
