Augmented Reality Annual 2015

Many people expected that this would be outstanding- I'm not sure what people where expecting! It's a great little thing to do- remember this is a hardback book- I've seen annuals more expensive than this book.

Lots of activities like drawing, snakes and ladders. The single AR is OK. Would have cost a lot of money to craft an app for just 1 AR. Bought the "unwanted" book in charity shop for 50p and in perfect condition. Amazing value!

It's good but for some reason I was expecting a little more, a couple more icons through out the book, both the front and back cover gave me the impression that the book would be almost full of AR bits and pieces because it's similarity to the PlayStation eye book.

Could add extra things to see

An amazing book and I think this app will encourage more children to read the annual and other books. I especially liked blowing up the Death Star and seeing the hologram.

Room for improvement

The death star hologram. I thought this was excellent, but it could've done with more augmented reality! Definitely was dissapointed that there was only one object to look at. Hope the next one takes that to heart and they really go all out!! Overall it was really good though.

Does 1 thing.. could have done so much more...... the possibilities for a.r. and starwars should be endless. Think qui gonn' s holo projector.... princess's message... the falcons board game.... to name but a few....

The book promises "augmented reality" on both the front and back cover. The kids were excited and couldn't wait to experience the book with something so spectacular and interactive. Then we loaded the app and.........there is one single, solitary AR sequence. Disappointed kids took 3 or 4 goes on viewing the AR and then moved on. I doubt the book will ever be opened again as it doesn't deliver on its perceived promises. A true rip off - dont bother buying it for the AR and there are better Star Wars books.

I've been a fan of Star Wars from the start and can honestly say this is the most disappointing piece of merchandising I've ever seen. It could have been so much more. Fun for 3 minutes.

Poor, boring, waste of time. Why this app & AR is even considered mention-worthy on the annual is mind boggling.

If I hadn't bought this book in poundland I would seriously be taking it back. Tried on several devices but graphics don't show properly and generally just poor. Only time I have ever felt the need to review anything!

Work well! But come on one AR...!!!

In all fairness, the app worked as expected. But the fact that there was only one thing to look at left me wondering why I bought this book at all...

Don't even bother, you will never get the time back. So much potential and yet in the end it is nothing short of pathetic.

Me and my twin bro love it so much. Anything star wars is good in our house.

Whilst the graphics are excellent, the fact it only gives ten seconds of enjoyment is very poor. Don't bother.
