TRAGO - Smart Hydration System for Android
Overall awesome product - I love it paces my intake so I know when to drink more and when I'm good. Also love I can also attach it to my 32oz Nalgenes (perfect for backpacking). No other smart water bottle does that!!! However, the bluetooth does periodically stop working -I'll chug but it no longer records chugs. I suspect if I put it in some tilted position for a while (lying sideways on couch), it times out and stops tracking. Then I have to reset it by removing and insert the battery in again. It's happened 3 times my first week. Likely fixable software bug - I'll update my review stars if they do. In the meantime, just keep it vertical lol. There's room for lots of app improvement. The basic functionality & data is there, but stuff like...having overall daily water consumption (e.g. 64 oz/132oz) at the top instead of bottom so I don't have to swipe down everytime to view it would be great, as well as seeing timestamp of when it was last synced ("Connected: Last Synced 2:38pm").
Respectable app, but is not updating Google fit water data. No response from support.
Always connects to my phone. Great app!
I have a note 5 and a fit bit blaze that I am trying to use for my new Trago lip/bottle. When it takes me to the fitbit log in page, it wont let me type in my log in or password. I havent had a chance to try the app to give an opinion. I love the look though and it seems like a well designed product. Thanks
If you have any issues with the lid - the customer service is excellent. I have never received this level of customer service from anyone else. Initially I had issues with the lid, they shipped me a new one, and a t-shirt!
Linking Google Fit account functionality is broken due to an OAuth error (not allowed from web view). Will be returning
The connection is very shaky. Drops connection regularly, won't find the cap in a search sometimes, or if it finds the cap, it won't connect. Any other bluetooth device kicks it out. My car kicks it off, my fitbit Blaze kicks it off. When it is connected, it works well enough.
The app functions well, but not completely accurate. The Trago system looks to be good for habit forming but not much use in the long run. Every time I fill it up I have to remove the cap as you would drink and put it back and even then usually the first drink is usually incorrect. It seems to have a built in memory for storing drinks when you are away from your phone but it is not consistent at all. In the three days ive used it since getting my replacement cap (original was defective from factory) it has been one to two whole bottles off as I don't always have my phone with me around the house or exercising.

Just got my cap today. It synced and I drank an entire bottle and nothing recorded. I did all the steps in the trouble shooting section and still nothing.
**Update** Customer support seems to be great at company, currently waiting on a new cap they sending free of charge because of manufacturing issue. Will update review once I can test the app again.** Hello, how do you get it to actually update water intake? Just started using today but it doesn't seem to track what I've drank. I have tried with app open and closed. It always says connected and I close the cap after each drink. Is there a way to see how much water the trago thinks is in the bottle? *** Reply*** Hello, looks like I may have found the issue. It was most likely the bottle cap it self. I was doing a leak test the first night I got it and placed the bottle on it side. The cap had filled with water around the battery, the lights still blinked and says connected but I have a feeling it messed something else up. I know the cap is not water proof and cant go in the dish washer but I at least expected it to stand up to it self. I am no longer using the cap, at least the bottle seems to be decent and I can use it with my camelbak tops.
I have been using the bottle for a week. I have had no issues so far.
Won't stay connected to the Trago bottle cap, and won't allow me to go "back" when I try to access settings, etc. Have to completely close the app to get back to the main screen. Won't sync with the cap half the time.
A solid product for the hydration market. It tells you throughout the day how much you are drinking BUT it also encourages you to **pace** your drinking which is the key for us humans. I routinely chug water (sometimes a liter at a time) which means I only absorb some of it and I void the rest out. I love how Trago gives me a pacing model to follow and how it gently reminds me from time to time throughout the day whether or not I am below, at, or ahead of pace. I've already learned that I drink on pace in the mornings and then I start to fail in the afternoon and that I do terrible in the evenings. This identifies behavior that as a person I can fix! I like the group feature too. I can bother other people when I think they are not drinking enough (like my family members) since I'm the health-nut in the family. hah hah Thanks, Trago. I love my bottle and the wait was worth it. Congrats!
Folks remember this is the first release to the app.. those with keyboard issues if you are using a third party keyboard change it back to your device's actual keyboard that might help.. things are a little buggy.. but will be fixed with subsequent updates.. really can't wait for the bottle to light up to remind me to drink.. I would love to see a way to change the day setup I work swings so most of the "morning" I'm sleeping. my other question is when will the google fit integration happen? im just seeing fitbit and underarmor
So far no major problems syncing with my trago bottle/cap. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have cooking (boiling?) for the future. I'd eventually like to see widgets implemented too. Keep up the great work!
On the login page the screen doesn't activate the keyboard. There's no way to log in or use this app

does what it supposed to do, but bluetooth connection does not stay
App works great! Lovin trago!
Worked for about a day before it started having connectivity problems with the cap. At first, restarting Bluetooth or pairing the cap again worked. Now, even after reinstalling the app and replacing the battery in the cap, it still won't pair again. Nice idea, but useless if the cap can't pair with the app.

Update: Had lots of problems with the cap syncing with my Samsung Galaxy S5. Support tried hard but were unable to resolve the issue so sent a new cap, which didn't work any better. HOWEVER I now have a new phone and the cap sync works great throughout the day. The only minor issue is that the cap never syncs itself first thing in the morning. I have to remove the cap and re-pair every morning. Would be nice if the cap supported a phone as popular as the Samsung Galaxy S5.
