TrackingTime | Time Tracker for Android
New UI is great but it's very buggy right now
Thank you for the hard work. This app and service are great. In the app 3 things are needed: 1. Split screen support and/or running timers notification. 2. Alternative themes. The dark theme is cool but hard to see in the daylight. 3. 'Activity' needs to be moved to be a sub menu item of 'my tasks' to make it more intuitive.
I've tried quite a few others - and even the better ones are only two star. TrackingTime is more intuitive than the others, and also is more fluid in daily use. It's synced to my Mac and two android devices. The report I use the most - an infuriating task to assemble on the 'other' well known app - is a single click on TimeTracker. Excellent work.
I love the app and the api great. One issue is that I have subscribed to pro version online and cannot edit time entry notes in the android app. Also with 500 active projects selecting a project is very hard there should be a search facility
Honestly, I did not want to rate this app because I could not use it due to some error. I tried to sign up but when I do that and I hit sign up or log in button I get stuck at the sync for a while then nothing! I will do a proper review once this error is fixed. If I could not log in, I will uninstall it after 2 weeks. Thanks
Works pretty well, but it's a shame I can't just email my hours as an invoice. ( I don't know if the paid versions let you do that. I'm using the free version. )
Ive tired many many apps and this is the best! And its great that it syncs between pc and phone so if ive left home and forgotten to stop then i can just do it on my phone. Next level - auto track on certain documents opened and being used.
The app leaves a lot to be desired. Doesn't always sync well with the web app. Feels outdated and clumsy. I'm not sure it's worth paying for anymore. Recently, after their web app 'improvements', I'm considering alternatives.
This app not only helps me track the actual time spent on each project, but it also helps me to create and organize new project ideas!! Thanks!
Free features provide for all my requirements. Paid features used during the trial were nice. It is simple to use and I have not encountered any issues with it so far.
UI is very satisfying to use, yet it only acts as a stop-watch and not a timer, which would've been very handy to have been reminded when the time-clock went down.
Works well for the most part, logs hours for my projects and subtasks. Little buggy though. When I delete something, it still seems to be there, then I try to delete again but says object not found. But the item still shows
Unusable. Can't even log in. Stack in a loop.
التصميم جميل لكنه غير سلس !
Great in combination with desktop app
Fantastic App! Does what it says
Unable to login
It's good
Works Great
Amazing
It does needs a overhaul to make the whole thing fast (Internet is slow in India, I agree, but this shouldn't be the reason for a subpar performance) and the to-do entry & task sorting have to be made more user friendly. Overall UX can be improved. Nonetheless, we are using this because offers awesome team tools & a dashboard.
TrackingTime provides a great service, I use it daily to keep tabs on how many hours I'm putting in to my classes. My biggest complaint is the manual time entry on their app. While the scrollbar looks sweet, it is a PITA to accurately input your times. If they would even add the option to directly input the time, I would say leave it. Otherwise, a standard time implementation would be nice.
So far so good. The one thing I wish would be implemented is weekly hours per teammate per project on the dashboard. Attaching tasks to projects and clients was an exercise in trial & error - not a real apparent flow to the order. However, the interface and ability to use a tablet or phone is great. UI pretty nice too.
Works great for tracking tasks!! I've been able to add many members of my team but had a few gitches adding some. Wish there were a widget for it to clock in easily. Also, it would be nice to have multiple people clock in to the same task. Overall, it has been great and works wonders for tracking time!
I'll explain why there's a 4 instead of 5 stars. Although it seem to be a great application, there is also place for improvements. I will definitely stick with it until the team implements all the features they have in mind. Worth trying.
I have a small business and have been using the app to track everyone's time. It's simple, unlike most others and does just what we need. Love that you can use it on the computer, phone or tablet!
Does most important tasks, but lacks notification status and Android Wear support (which would be great for pause/unpause of the current task)
It's an OK app. It lacks an offline mode, and doesn't work when there is no data signal. I mainly use it to interface with the desktop app, which is much better.
Handy. Easy to share projects with coworkers and track individual tasks.
Works well and provides all the tools I need to track my activities. I especially appreciate the ability to approach my activities from different perspectives.
Good for save time working but when doesn't working identify example send packet and if doesn't delivery force stop working counter
Very good app. A simple approach once you become used to it.
Best tracker by far!
Works very well, love it. Performance lags sometime but nothing really bad. Something very confusing and annoying; I use the Android, chrome app and web browser versions and for some unknown reasons the interface does not provide the same features, and sometime the same feature but, but with a different label names! As an example, on Web Browser version it is called timesheet, the same thing on Android it is called activity! On web browser version we have reports, on chrome version reports are named timesheets (woh timesheet was activity no?)!!!, on Android there are no reports, or timesheets, just activity, which is the timesheet on Web browser! Did I say it was confusing? Consistency would be very appreciated.
It does needs a overhaul to make the whole thing fast (Internet is slow in India, I agree, but this shouldn't be the reason for a subpar performance) and the to-do entry & task sorting have to be made more user friendly. TrackingTime is a true tool in a sea of APPs! Over the last few weeks, I have migrated completely over to this tool for all internal tracking and client billing. While there are a few things to be desired, the intuitive layout, multi-platform support and reporting serves the purpose most would need!
If my boss every second guesses my hours I just go to the timesheet and print.
It looks great. There are great features atleast for me and my purposes. I want to ask what does mean "time tracking and collaboration features". You say they will remain free!
Really great time tracking app. Love that it is a chrome app and mobile app, and while they have similar functionality, I really like that the mobile app focuses on time entry and less on project setup, while the chrome app is really the dashboard to do it all. Give this app a try!

Works really well. It would be awesome if you could assign more than one user to a task though, and have them both running timers simultaneously. Until this feature is added it is not much use to my business.
