1 Second Everyday: Video Diary

I usually use the iOS version which is awesome. Trimming is easier and you can comment in the "Location" section. Trimming is more difficult and there is no comment section for the Android version. Other features are missing from Android compared to iOS. Not sure why they are so different from one another? But great app for iOS users!

So thankfully after managing to sync my deleted clips back after a glitch lost them, the app still won't compile any clips! Seems with every update something gets broken. Without the ability to compile this app is pointless!

Daily vlogging for the masses... What a great way to routinely document a snippet of daily life! However, updates keep making the app more glitchy and recently all of my timelines were deleted after updating! This is app is a brilliant idea just executed terribly.

I love this app. It's such a fun way to document your life. From the boring to the fantastic adventures, you can showcase everything without an overwhelmingly long video or photo album.

Very disappointed. Something went wrong and half of all my videos disappeared from the app, although vids still on device. I didn't find backups on Drive, looks like there are no backups at all. Force sync didn't help. Support didn't answer.

I can't compile my video, it keeps saying it fails and i feel like i waisted a second everyday now because whats the point if this app doesn't put the videos together. Please fix????

Great app, but Android version is missing a lot of features from the iOS version. Needs a feature to edit sound as well.

Worked for a 15 day video when i installed, I did the videos for the whole month, now it fails to create video! Bummed DOESN'T WORK

App is a great concept but very buggy. Hopefully it gets better the longer it's around

Can't compile a video as of February 20th. Absolutely useless app if that function doesn't work.

Great idea, but it could do with having the ability to get videos from Google photos as most of mine are on there now rather than my phone's internal storage, meaning I have to fuss around trying to download them. Also would be useful to do historic dates, not just 30 days into the past. Fab otherwise!

I loved the idea of 1second a day and used it every day for 6 months, but they did a recent update and it wiped all my videos. I had them all stored on the app, so all of that progress is gone forever. I contacted them about 1 week ago for help to see if the data could be restored, and they never got back to me.

Great app but a bit glitchy with recording through the app - doesn't ever save and only works if you import pre-shot video. Also the dates aren't always accurate, could do with an update! Other than that I use this app every day and love it :)

Love this app, I have been making monthly videos for over a year now. Only issues I have is low quality videos on android compared to iPhone, this hasn't changed in 12 months. And there was an update today, and it has time stamped a video I compiled, every clip is time stamped 16th February!

At first I was having some issues with compiling all my seconds together to create a longer video ... but the new update fixed that! Thanks so much! Loving it.

I used this app all through 2017 to make my yearly 1SE video, but after the update, many of my clips no longer showed on my timeline! Please fix this! Edit: I emailed support and they promptly responded with a fix. Good customer service! My seconds are back!

Seems like it's nothing but loading bars that never finish loading and just stay in your notification bar for days if you let it. How do you get the videos to actually finish compiling? I've been waiting on my daughter's two year birthday video since yesterday? Tried to update the app and now it's a loading bar to sync my timeline and it's not finishing either!!!

I have about 100 1-second videos, and after installing the update, only about 30 of them show up on my screen. The others won't load, even though they are on my phone's storage. Before the update, the videos were okay. Please fix this.

Won't let me compile the days? Keeps saying that it can't do it (without giving an idea as to why)

This used to be SO smooth and after the update a it's quite horrible. After I've waited a good amount of time for sync to complete, I still cannot add a new video to my existing timeline. It shows trimming, then shows processing on the tiles page, then it just all disappears, leaving me with only my clips from prior to the update. Even tried to force sync to see if that would add the clip to my timeline, but it doesn't. I interact with this app every day and tell a good amount of people about it. Please fix this issue. Used to be smooth as butter, not this is short of unusable!

I've been using this app for a couple years and I really like it! I'd love for there to be a way to annotate certain days on the timeline to say, like, "this is the week I did x" or something like that. Regardless, it has a really smooth and easy to use interface and it uses saved videos on the device, so you don't need to open the app every day to choose a video, you just need to remember to film something every day and then you can stick multiple different clips into your timeline at once. It does enforce the timestamp of the video however, so you can't take two videos on the same day and assign them to different dates on the timeline (there's some wiggle room if you take a video right around midnight, however). It's possible to set reminders in the form of push notifications, so I rarely miss a day anymore. Since I have it linked to my camera's cloud storage there wasn't even a hiccup when I got a new phone; all of my clips transferred seamlessly.

Just started using this a little over a week ago to start documenting my daughter who is now 5 weeks old. Just did the most recent app update and it removed all of the clips I had selected. Now I have to re-select/edit every day? Is this going to happen every time the app updates? How do you prevent this? Seems like a huge waste of time to even try to use this app if this happens!

after this most recent update I've had quite a few problems. lots of glitches when trying to save snippets. and what happened to the TEXT option?!?!?! now I can no longer add text alone or over photos. that was one of my fav new features. I love this app, but it needs a major bug fix.

Another update more issues. Not syncing all my clips. Every time I retry it syncs a different amount. Force sync doesn't work. Completely lost most of 2015 and all of 2014 with wifi and updated Google play services. I hope it doesn't resync with Google drive. Still doesn't save a complete second. Last worked properly was about September 2016. And nowhere near as good as ios version. Why must you break it more with every update?

I used to love this but now it wont add any of my clips. I go to trim them and when they are done they just vanish. It doesnt recognise videos are on my timeline as well. And i have recently synced. How do i fix this?

This app is so fun! I've been capturing my 2018 so far and finding it's actually a challenge to seek out a clip each day. The app support and customer service is incredible for a free app! They personally emailed back and forth with me to get my app working and make sure I could use the app correctly. Kudos for a business well run.

What's happened?? A whole 365 of my “seconds" for 2017 now contains only about 80 clips after the last update. So disappointed! I have tried the force sync as recommended and they haven't reappeared. Is there any way to get back the clips. Don't fancy wasting time looking back through all the videos to make it again... And this year's have also been deleted. Not off too a great start. Thanks to tech support I've retrieved the clips, bit of a mission, but all clips are back.

Overall, I really like this app. The only problem is that the timestamp shows up twice on some of my 2016 videos in a compilation, although slightly offset, so it looks really bad. Some individual clips have a timestamp and some don't. My guess is that an update removed adding a timestamp to individual clips and just added them to compilations. Can you either update the timestamp position to match the 2016 version or allow timestamps to be added or removed? Thanks

I am extremely upset with the new update; I had four years worth of footage only for it all to be deleted when I updated the app. This is devastating because I was only 14 when I began this and I was able to document some pivotal years of my life. If this can be fixed and my footage recovered I would be beyond grateful.

My friend was using this app to make the cutest videos of her baby, so I wanted it too. No matter what I tried, it wouldn't trim any videos and was a total waste of time on my Android.

This is my 3rd year using this app and I love it BUT the android version is totally inferior to the iOS version, neglected and lacking in features established years ago on iOS. Massive missed opportunity.

Since the bug fixes I can now record videos again, but can't access my videos from before the update that crashed the whole app. Holding out for another update and hoping to get my videos back.

I love the app, nearly done 200 straight days. HOWEVER, since this latest update the app is very unstable, takes much longer to start up and I'm constantly getting 'clipping errors' and 'conflic errors' never used to before, it used to be so smooth and easy! Please fix the bugs!

I love the idea of 1SE and have been using the app with pleasure. However, recently I've noticed that while I'm trimming a second from a video, the preview looks fine but when I play/export the trimmed video, it looks like the speed is increased and it's noticeably less than 1 second. Update: turning off the hardware compile option has helped! But when I tried compiling a whole year, a period of about 2 months is missing. The video just skips 2 months and continues.
