Had this app for ages and finally had the chance to use it at Bareburger. When I mentioned it to the server, he first didn't seem to know what I was talking about, then said he had to check with the manager if it's OK. Then he came back to say they're technically set up, but the server seems to be down. I ended up having to pay with credit card. So basically, you still have to ensure you have your wallet with you when using this app, coz you never know when it's not available. Lame.

I'm exploring a lot more amazing Toronto restaurants because tab just makes the dining experience so much better

See title, i have privacy guard on and every couple seconds i get a notif "Tab wants to access your location" even if i accept, it queries again a couple seconds later. I've disabled location reporting entirely for the app now, but maybe change location checking only if the user requests it in app? Or only if the app is actively running. otherwise well designed app.

So you can collect my personal info, locations, what I buy etc and provide it to third parties? Read the fine print people. For what...saving a minute or two. If the servers are good, there is no need for waiting. Why not make an app to order your food so you Dont waste time with the server? People can walk away and cheap out on the server. Seems like a lot of work for nothing. With all the data issues why add another step into the payment process. Waste of time.

UI is terrible

I prefer to be prompted with a screen to approve the payment. Last time I paid for something that was miscalculated
