Brilliant conceptually, but application implementation buggy - will override Android settings and make dialing from SIM card carrier unavailable on Samsung Galaxy s7. Also, may "loop" if select carrier then hangouts. -------- Note: subsequent to posting above, received feedback from company which I appreciate, but unfortunately, were more focused on user interface (i.e. I needed to change a setting) as opposed to buggy behavior. Unfortunately, the buggy behavior persists, especially the loopback (going from Dialpad, to native phone dialer, back to Dialpad, and so on 2-3x before each call is placed). Nevertheless, the app worked just fine on my old Sony Z3, it just has some kind of issue with the Samsung. --------- Also note: the desktop app works perfect on my I-Mac. I'm not going to get rid of the service, but the app does need some work.

Buggy application, my phone rings when dialpad incoming call, but it just prompt for awhile and disappear, I can't answer the call because I could not find where to answer even I am in dialpad app, I still can't find any button to answer.

Horrible app!!! I absolutely hate it! I remove call forwarding to cell every day, and yet it reappears every day. Forward text messages is turned off, however I get text messages forwarded anyway. All is very delayed, no notifications appear in app (yes they are enabled). Just horrible overall! Using Samsung Galaxy s7... contacted support on 1/24 still waiting for a resolution.

I just deleted a recent comment about this app. It runs my entire company, they have done all they said, Josh is tech support has been on it. We are using the new call center feature, just go the new tablet feature. Going to start using the new Sales Force feature. This company has done everything so far promised and I look forward to recommending it to my consulting clients.

Every time I tried to make a call it would interrupt me to ask me how I wanted to make the call. Unless I have the app open and dial in the app I intend to use my own phone not dialpad. No matter how many times I told it to default to my phone it kept asking. This was a real nuisance trying to do hands free dialing. The app seems invasive and assuming. I dislike it. It will not be going back on my devices if it can be helped.

This software lags on incoming calls, has zero tech support not sure where the company is going

When you reinstall the app or get a new phone it loses all your call settings. Call X number with my cell number and call Y number with my Dialpad number.

Every update is problematic. The recent release 9/19/16 interrupts the audio on my current call whenever there is an inbound Dialpad call. Love Dialpad's service, but the apps need closer scrutiny before release. Update 10/28/16. The most recent version affects ability to make 3-way calls on my phone's native dialer. Dialpad says it doesn't. But when I uninstall the app. everything works fine. Looking for another solution.

This works ok for my business needs, but it really needs the option to turn off number selection when making a call from the built in phone app. Not only is this annoying, but it is dangerous when using hands free calling via Bluetooth or Android Auto, as it requires you to take your eyes off the road and hands off the wheel to select the appropriate number to call from. Major oversight that needs to be corrected immediately.

I've been using Dialpad since April. This app has worked seamlessly for me until recently where I am unable to turn the rings to it off to my cell with the app and setup as a forwarding number. In the past that feature worked without issue. 5 star rating without this little issue. Have a current inquiry into their support team.

We have multiple lines for our business and wanted a VOIP solution to connect to a mobile phone. Let's say its been rocky since the beginning. The VOIP feature doesn't work if you activate it. By doesn't work, I mean when someone calls, it doesn't notify you of the incoming call until after they hang up or leave a voicemail message. The call quality is a hit or miss. I contacted customer support and their response is "we are fixing it" even though its been over 2 months.

When I get an incoming call, it shows in the notification bar. But it doesn't always give me the option to answer the call. If I tap on the notification, it doesn't take me to an option to answer the call. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Using Android 6, the app has begun to cycle through the disallowed app and the phone when attempting to connect. Checked app permissions and all are granted.

Proximity sensor works and turns off the screen. VoIP over WiFi has improved but still glitchy. Sometimes I still don't receive calls when connected to wifi. I would like to see Diapad to add ability to block calls.

Signed up by "requesting a free trial" never received an email confirmation. I can't even log in from the app... I tried calling customer service and after a very long wait time I was directed to leave a voice mail... really bad experience for a new user...

It only seems to properly ring my device w/ proper caller ID when the Dialpad app is actually open. If it's not, sometimes (if my phone even decides to ring) I just get a normal mobile call from my company phone number - why? It's really annoying. The app shouldn't have to be opened in the background to work. Really like the redesign. Looks/feels much more focused and overall more clean. Looking forward to the new functionality coming in the near future and this app is definitely "getting there"!

From the guys that brought us Uber conference, now they've taken on the PBX. All the features you need in a phone system and then some. Works great, very cost effective. Works as an app or on the desktop in the browser. What's not to love. I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way, but I wish I was. Great communications platform that continues to improve.

Makes it super-easy to use your cell for both personal and business calls and choose, call by call, which outgoing number will appear on the recipient's caller ID. What I don't like: the call log is not searchable. For businesses that run on billable hours (like ours) this is a major omission. Integrate the Switch app with the Unlimited Call Log Android App and you'd have a real winner.
