* Super fast & efficient: punctuation marks can be either dictated by voice commands or single click-inserted with our unique (patent-pending) punctuation keyboard. All that - without ever stopping dictation - type and dictate simultaneously! Like it? There's more:

* Super accurate: using Google's voice recognition engines (best on the market)

Its good and working

Just like all the others. It only works if you're in a wifi spot or are willing to deplete your mobility allotment. Not at all handy when you're "on the go" as description promises. I tried it because the description indicates the possibility of using it offline, depending on device and settings. So I thought I'd try. Apparently I don't have the right device. It would be cool if a developer created an app for where there truly is a niche instead of generating a modified duplicate of what already exists. I'd pay for a voice to text app that didn't rely on Google voice recognition. Google voice recognition has a big flaw: it only works if you're online. Astonishing as it is to some people, life sometimes happens offline.

This isn't so good but can't be so bad even. I've seen many text-to-speech app but this one is quite better than those, at least it can type to many extent though still it needs many reformation. In our language Hindi, its voice recognition is almost satisfactory but still it makes certain errors even in online. If,somehow, a vigilant care n supervision can be taken to improve this app, then I believe that this will be one of the superb best VOICE TO TEXT APPLICATIONamongst other apps, there isn't any least doubt.

Get Speechnotes! It understands everyone. It is fun. The whole family uses Speechnotes to make shopping lists together. Then, we text the shopping list to whoever wants to go shopping. Speechnotes is even helping my children speak more clearly, while having fun. You can change languages in the middle of a note, whenever you feel like it! Download this elegant ap. You will be happy you chose Speechnotes

I have Dragon Dictation on one computer but the cost is so high that application that cannot affkrd go put it on every computer I have. I need a low-cost, cross platform alternative that can easily be used without having to set up a specific laptop. Speachnotes fills that requirement. It does have lags and dodgy word recognition but I use it to bull through the thoughts and transmit the raw dictation to an editor and clean it up.

I've been looking everywhere for a decent speech-to-text program, and this is pretty much my go-to now. The only thing I miss is - some sort of word replacement options while you're speaking - unless you use the keyboard. Otherwise, it's badass!

I70%
by I####:

Potential but problems. The lags and missing words and phrases makes it almost useless. I don't mind if it occasionally gets a word wrong, but when the first part of a sentence is missing, that's a problem when you go to edit and polish a memo. Disappointing since it has other good features.

If I use my phone mic, it does fairly well but still with errors. Not bad. But if I am not in an ideal environment, like when I'm walking or if another person speaks at the same time, or any other interfering noise; it simply stops recording for a bit then picks up again. The result is gibberish and impossible to edit.

K70%
by K####:

The app could only use my phone's microphone. I kind of need it to go through my Bluetooth. If I'm capable of holding my phone, I'm capable of typing. It gets 3 stars because it can have a use. I just find this app useless. Also the $5.99 for the full unlock ad every few seconds is quite annoying when I'm still trying to figure out if the app can do what I need it to do.

K70%
by K####:

Somewhat Helpful. Not any better than voice texting. Meaning it makes lots of errors and misunderstanings, maybe I don't annunciate like I should? And the constant loud beeping that I can't mute is annoying and makes it hard to focus on what I'm trying to say. I turn my phone volume down and yet it turns volume all the way up when reactivate the Mic. Overall, I like the look of the app. And the basic operating principal is user friendly.

I used it and found it best voice typing tool for hindi without disturbing google keyboard settings.l love it more because while misspell or rarely mislistening l can use google indic keyboard which is in my habit. Thanks to developers .It is also capable of good recognition of indian lingual and phonetic sounds rather than other apps.again thanks.

This is a super app for transcribing voice in a noisy environment, since it uses Google Speech. The export to SD card works perfectly. However, there needs to be an option to DELETE ALL NOTES once the export is done. Also need to provide for resetting the note number.

Y70%
by Y####:

The speech to voice recognition system is not that great. It skips many words in the middle and is not that sensitive. Luckily, I found TalkType, which is another great app that works perfectly and I used it to type this in.

i have only used this briefly, but from the very first sentence I have been very impressed. This appears to be exactly what I have been looking for. Good looking product so far. If I end up using it a lot, I will likely upgrade to the Premium version.

$5.99 for NO TEXT READBACK!??? Ripoff app. Geez...this program should have the reader of text BUILT IN! Not a separate package...TOO many apps to install for one thing....we have enough and it's too confusing. ..so please include the readback IN THE APP! At least in the paid version! The app needs better file organization....like sections & categories & custom auto renaming, etc. Also option to remove annoying gray help background text. STUPID ADS INTERFERE WITH APP SPEED AND ACCURACY...AND CAUSES SKIPPED WORDS!!! Earlier version was better...and not as bloated. Guess I'll look elsewhere.

I had high hopes after all the other reviews but this is just as bad as the others for me. I downloaded this to save time, so I could just speak my notes rather than have to stop what I'm doing and write them down but this makes the process so much longer, it doesn't put punctuation marks in, it changed words from one thing to another, it doesn't interpret my speech correctly and sometimes when I speak it doesn't record it at all. Such a waste of time

Works fantastically well in recognising voice command when dictating I am really impressed. I don't think there is learning. You can download to phone so that u don't have to use data. There is a cost for as free. V good.

K70%

The app arbitrarily misses words, sometimes entire phrases. Basically, it's not even usable as it stands right now. It's easier just the use the voice function in Google keyboard

Managed to get many medical words. Problem with addressee but most App have this issue.

I was hoping to replace the Google gboard with this app especially for voice recognition. Unfortunately it appears that the Google recognition UI still the best that I've seen so far. I was also happy to have something that you could train and personalize so that it is very accurate based on your individual voice and words that you use specifically. Not a bad app for free but definitely wouldn't pay for it.

K70%

It's a great app! But sometimes it writes down words, that don't have nothing in common with the spoken one and there is no punctuation.

Most of the functionality of this app can be supplied by the Google keyboard. What primarily drew me to this application was punctuation ... I was very happy to see that it had the ability to add punctuation on the fly, but verbally this is very difficult to do and even though there is a keyboard that promises the ability to add punctuation by simply pushing buttons, those buttons will register as having been pushed but they almost never appear in the text... I find it easier to just use Google keyboard in Gmail as the application is more solid... A number of times I've been part way through a document with this application (the paid version that is) and it crashes with no recollection of what it was last up to :-/ I rarely leave feedback and I've never left any negative feedback... If this app had been a completely stand-alone app with all the development done by the team that put it together I would be amazed at how good it is... But as I'm assuming most of the engine behind it all is the work that has been done by Google anyway, I'm not really seeing the added value. I do like however that it continues to recognise the voice even after you stop talking or when you do finally get the punctuation keyboard to register the button you're pushing :-) .

It works great but it shows swear words as F*** or s*** for example... I didnt choose to put the app on liberal sissy mode so why did you have to do this for me?

K70%
by K####:

Very easy to take hands on, to export text to file or email. Good transcription though you should always check for missed words or mispelling as you dictate, supports effectiveli many languages (i tried three).

We are using it for my 90 year old mother who cannot hear. So she reads what we are saying. Working good so far.

Spanish narration is good, but needs to be more fluent. Too many abrupt stoppages.

T70%

Missing speed and accuracy needed for continuous dictation. Would happily pay hundreds of dollars if it was good enough for me to dictate without watching the screen and stopping to edit every phrase. Points for trying.

Not supported for Marathi. Some Marathi words get recognised butit can not recognise most marathi words. Needs improvement!

Each time you create a note it's called Note1, Note2, etc. You can't reset the note count. This is annoying!
